For anyone wanting to know more about this gun its lightweight, reliable and it has really good accuracy. FPS are around 350 of what ive seen with .25s , the cons are the blowback is sort of mild and the magazines don't retain enough although this is no issue since there are few exceptions that do in the market. Ive stumbled with some broken pieces but there are replacements and although again the gun might appear weak in terms of design it has been very reliable of what ive been able to test. I wish I didnt sell mine but I can say you wont regret it.

'Murica there can be many reasons for this. 1. The mag needs to be filled with gas 2. The valve spring is too strong 3. The magazine is over filled 4. Your hammer spring is too weak 5. Your hammer is worn/damaged in some way 6. Your magazine could possibly be seated incorrectly 7. There is something internally in the way preventing the hammer from striking the striker valve There are probably more possible reasons but those are several I can think of off the top of my head. Let me know how it goes.

So ill just take a shot in the dark and ask. I bought a kwa mp7 from a guy on ebay getting out of the sport. Soon as i got it i took a few shots to make sure everything was in working order and then everything went downhill from there. At first it started with the gun shooting super off to left and right. Then came the bbs just rolling out of the barrel. And now with a fresh fill of Green gas at room temp with a triggerpull all the gas expels as if its on cooldown from freezing. Any ideas of where to start or what to look at. Im only familiar with GBB in the form of my EF1911. Thanks!

Sounds like your bucking has soaked up too much oil. Replace the bucking or take yours off and wash it with something that will cut grease. Let it dry for a few days.
@DouglasThompson
4 жыл бұрын
Could also be your hop up is too far up into the chamber. Preventing the bbs from passing easily then jamming. If your nub underneath the bucking is out of place, it will cause similar issues to what your describing. Your bucking could be worn where it puts the backspin on the bb too causing the bbs to be inconsistent.

a very very tiny bit on the piston head and it will spread itself. If you wish you can use a light non-petrolium grease for other moving parts (bolt carrier, trigger group, etc.) But it is not needed as long as you clean your gun often. I'd recommend not lubing the gun at all unless it's very dry. In the colder seasons you will notice your gun runs better without lube since the lube kinda freezes and slows things down. Make sure and not get any silicone oil on the bucking! Very important. The bucking swells so much that the bb will not pass through.

How many mags will you get with one full fill of green gas? I only get like 1/2 or barely one full mag
@DouglasThompson
8 жыл бұрын
you should get 1-2 reloads of bb's off 1 fill of gas. here are some possible factors: 1. temperature - if it is colder, you will get less efficiency. 2. you're not filling the mag properly- you should be holding the magazine with the fill valve aiming towards the sky and the gas can upside down. This is because the "gas" is actually stored as a liquid and only turns to gas when the pressure is released. 3. your can of gas or propane does not have enough pressure left to fill the mag all the way. 4. your gun or mag has something wrong with it... these are the tips I can offer. I will post again later if I think of anything else that would cause this issue.

@DouglasThompson

Use propane. Green gas is a waste. Avoid metal propane adapters. They will tear your fill valve orings. I recommend the airsoft innovations adapter. Avoid using silicone oil, ESPECIALLY on the kwa mp7. You will ruin your bucking. Run it dry and clean your gun after every day you use it.

@DouglasThompson
9 жыл бұрын
A good rule of thumb is to put silicone oil and sometimes silicone grease on anything that is plastic or rubber. So fill valves, piston area, etc. NOT THE BUCKING though! lol Sometimes I soak my orings with silicon oil. For for example, I put one drop of silicone oil on the fill valve area of my magazine and turn the mag upside down and let it sit there for a day so it's fully saturated. It's just part of something I do and I have no hard evidence it is helping but it makes me feel confident.
@DouglasThompson
9 жыл бұрын
Sorry I forgot to address the bolt question. I would not recommend silicone oil for any metal to metal contact areas. If you need to be lubricated to feel like your gun is safe you can try ultra lube. It's synthetic so it won't damage plastic or rubber and is super slippery. Kwa recommends to run their mp7 completely dry with only a little oil mixed in occasionally. What I like to do is put some ultra lube synthetic oil or white lithium grease on the end of a q-tip and lubricate the worn areas. While I don't belive you can "over lube" a gun, I do belive you can waste a lot of good lube if you lather it on. I'd say you're better off leaving the bolt dry than lubricating it with silicone oil though. Just wipe your bolt and guide rails clean after every game, is what I'd recommend.

The questions I keep asking myself are "How long until this thing breaks on me?" and "When it does, how easy is it to fix?" As to answer your question from like seven months ago though, especially on gas blow back guns in airsoft, your mileage with the gun will be dependent on how well you take care of it. So treat it right and it'll treat you right. The more often you can maintenance it, the better. Cheers if you even see this.
