5 weeks ago I had my (year old) saline implants exchanged for the Inspira Soft Touch. I am much, much happier with the shape of the gummies. They actually give more upper pole fullness than my overfilled saline did. Another plus is that the implant is not so detectable at the bottom of my breast, where as the saline implants felt like literal squeaky toys inside my skin! Gummy bears allow you to achieve the full upper poles without having to go as LARGE as you traditionally would. This is very important because as we all know-the larger the implant, the greater the sag. Another reason I hated my saline was b/c I had to use low profile (my chest is wide and I had a lift at the same time, so I was limited to 400cc’s and below). Now that the lift is over, I was able to swap to high profile 605cc during my revision surgery. The high profile Soft Touch has truly offered me the shapely, augmented look that I’ve always wanted.

Hey! The saying "if it's not broke, don't fix it" is so true when it comes to breast implants. The more surgeries you have, the higher the likelihood of developing complications down the road. :)

Man, I really wish I'd gone with Responsive, or mentor memorygel. I had (mod) soft touch implants inserted 2 months back, and though I much prefer how my boobs look compared to when they were tuberous, I really wish that they would feel as much like real breast tissue as possible. I wouldn't mind a lack of upper pole; in fact I might prefer it after sitting through years of that in excess alongside the opposite with my lower pole. Wish I'd discussed things more in depth with my surgeon prior to the procedure, but it is what it is. I'll definitely go with less cohesion when it's time for a replacement. Super useful resource, I wish I'd seen it earlier, but I don't doubt that it's aided a lot of girls in making their decision!

How do you feel about saline over the muscle? I lift a lot of patients at work and want a quicker recovery! Saline seems more safer too me as well, and I have a fair amount of breast tissue! I don't like the idea of cutting through my muscle, I like working out at the gym.
@Bustmob

Hello! I have saline implants and am happy with them. Going over the muscle increases your chance of seeing rippling of the implant so I would be cautious of that. But your recovery time will be considerably shorter with overs and you won't experience flex distortion when working out

I've had saline implants since 2010 and I've never had a rupture or any issues with the implant. With ideal, you can purchase their lifetime warranty for not much at all that will cover any damage to the breast implant.

Jenny Eden (Eden Knows Implants) thanks for the response 😀. Ideal implant does have life time replacement for free, I m just really active and don’t want to have any spontaneous rupture .will see how I Iike this, if not then have to go back to silicon 😬. I m healing pretty good right now, I can’t wait to see how this ideal go along .

Different plastic surgeons offer different brands of implants like Allergan, Sientra and Mentor are all different brands of implants. Allergan makes the Inspira collection of different cohesive silicone gel implants I spoke to above :)

How would you compare the new Mentor HP and MP Extra with the Natrelle Inspira cohesive/soft touch? Which one would you say is better at preventing side/ cleavage rippling in thin, small frame women?
@Bustmob
6 жыл бұрын
Gosh that's a tough one because I don't want to steer you wrong not having seen you... BUT I would say the more cohesive the implant is, the less rippling there will be regardless of profile. Also, if you go with saline, the implant can also be overfilled which reduces the risk of rippling too for people with very little breast tissue. Let your surgeon know what your most concerned about, like with rippling, and he/she should be able to guide you to the best implant option they carry at their practice

I go in to for my pre up in two weeks they carry allergen line so the Inspira and the natrelle. I have no upper pull what so ever. All I have is at the bottom. I’ve had 7 kids and was up in down in weight for years. I want implants that will give me the upper fullness that I lost years ago. I like the most cohesive one but I also know my dr tends to use that one for reconstructive patients. The middle of the road one also appeals to me because it is more soft. My question would be do the soft touch and the responsive if they were to leak would that gel stay together? I know this was two years ago but if anyone had any answers they would be great.

Responsive's are old technology, 4th generation. Don't get those. If I had to choose between what you're being offered I'd go with soft touch but Sientra implants are the best.

I've been told that the highly cohesive are the most firm and the responsive are the squishiest... so I would imagine in terms of comfort, the more squishy it is, the more comfortable :-)

How do your Saline implants feel ? Do they not feel natural at all ?
@Bustmob

the more breast tissue you have with salines the more natural they'll feel and the less rippling you'll have. I now have switched to sientra silicone implants and they're SSOOO much softer my husband can't believe there's even an implant in there! :)

I want softer and natural looking I have Natrelle moderate saline 800 so this will be quite the upgrade 😇.

@@Bustmob my DR loves using Allergan mostly so I’m going to go with the soft touch. I am exchanging them from saline. I hope the soft touch feel better than soft touch and close to the sientra. I always wanted to have natural feeling breast I started with nothing. Went 300. Then 700 then 800 all saline now one of these saline ruptured and deflated 🤷♀️ after 9 years. They were tight soft. Not 100% mushy I hope with these new gel implants they feel much softer 😌 🙏

@Bustmob

Depending on how much breast tissue you start out with determines how natural a saline implant will feel. I've heard from different people that the ideals can feel very natural or kind of firm. I started out with a B cup so my breast tissue covers my standard saline implants enough to where they're still squishy. :)

Aren't all 3 of these cohesive ("gummy bear") implants? Pretty sure you could cut all of those open and nothing would leak out. They're just different levels of cohesive.
@Bustmob
4 жыл бұрын
No, the responsive implant is a 4th generation silicone gel and is not cohesive (5th generation). So if you were to cut that one open, it would ooze out. However the soft touch and highly cohesive are 5th gen and would stay in their shell if cut.
