That’s not a GTO, that’s a GTO-Tiger. He ordered it perfectly!

I had a 1964 Pontiac Tempest, cheap version of this car with the same color, that I bought in Jan. 1966 for $1500, It ran flawlessly for 16 years until it was vandalized & had to be scrapped! One thing, this color was gorgeous but faded after about 5-7 years & had to be repainted! Otherwise, the Pontiac Le Mans (GTO) were a phenomenal car line! I still miss it!

Very nice 64 GTO. The car that started the muscle car era. Again, very nice original car in spite of all the negative comments. They are only original once.

Is the car all original? How about that damage to the passenger side below the back window and around the door handle. I didn't hear that...

Mine has a bigger engine but still doesn't have power steering or power brakes...little tricky but not that hard to drive, guess I've gotten used to it.

No shroud on my brand new '64 Marimba Red/Black Vert, just a top guard. Also on the very few I saw that year, none had whitewalls. My specific tires on delivery had Uniroyal Tiger Paws with a tiger orange pinstripe.First year ever for this tire. '65 and up had a bold red pinstripe. My car also was full chrome between the tail lights,no color. My hubcaps were different, but there were a number of types of these originals, and I've never seen my caps on any other GTO.My car had 52mi on it when I got it,so it was factory original.

My 1965 Pontiac Lemans did not have a fan shroud. Nice 326 cubic in engine but not a GTO.

....if you ever drove one...she had a suspension that caused the car to leap upward/forward...the trick was to hit next gear before she sat down...without spinning the wheels...lots of power....reminds me of my first girl friend!!!!!

389 and 4 speed, awesome! But no power brakes, and especially no power steering with that big heavy engine up front, that must have been tough to drive, like driving a truck. No wonder he parked it. LOL It is gorgeous, though..

Doug, a lot of cars didn't have ps, pb back then. If that was all you had driven it was no big deal. Plus it was less weight on the front wheels and more power to the tires.

Yeah that car has only 8,000 miles on it! No way. Must be 108,000 miles. If its the "real" mileage then it was only driven 150 miles per year for 50 years? If you believe that, I have a bridge I can sell you! What 18 year old would buy a brand new car and leave it in the garage for 50 years?
