Seems to me that unless you really need that extra range, it's best to keep the second battery at home. Adds weight and makes it a bit harder to use its step thru convenience. Happy New Year to you and yours as well as the whole Rip 1 family of subscribers.

Good thought Pedro. I think hunters would benefit because some of the hunting management areas are far from power sources.

I’m gonna tell you I don’t like getting my bike dirty😂 but I do. I think Mooncool is going to make a big impact for 2024 they definitely need to introduce a rear wheel drive only and I wish they do it in a 24 inch. Maybe in the 1000 watt range. I know I know I’m a speed demon 😁 I know Mooncool is probably going to be reading the comments so I’d like to suggest that you look into some financing for at least 18 months. I think this will open the door to a lot more people buying your brand. Richard, awesome review and ride. Can’t wait to see what else you do with the bike

Could you try that first hill w/o pedaling to see if you can make it to the top, or at least pedal while sitting and use a lower gear.
@Rip1Outdoors

It is too steep, or it seems to be, to sit down. I’m not sure if throttle only would have worked so I didn’t chance it. At my age I wouldn’t want to risk falling over on that steep hill. Like I mentioned, the camera doesn’t do that hill justice

Interesting bike, Richard. As you were talking about the battery, and stepping through, it appeared like that was your left foot stepping through. Can we all see you do that and Sit on it backwards and ride it please. I promise you I will step out of work and watch that video as soon as it drops. Lol you have a great new year friend. Really good job on the review.

I bought the same bike, in the step over version. I only put 6 miles on mine before a freak accident pulled the wires from the front motor. I’ve got a review and explanation on my channel. I was blown away at how this bike climbed up any hill I threw at it. Mooncool says they are going to send me a replacement front wheel to fix my issue. I hope they make good on their promise because I feel like this is an excellent bike.

We live in Northern Illinois and just love your beautiful weather. My wife has an E-bike and riding for about 4 years. In October, I purchased an Aventon Level 2, and been riding when the weather is 40 degrees. Will be riding more and more. Love the E-bike. Love your videos. Keep up the good work. Kevin
