I used to have a B , it’s the strongest pound for pound tractor ever built by anyone in my opinion.

Tractor sounds good and the plow does a good job. I have the same plow that I use on my BX2200, adapted it to three three-point hitch and spent several pleasant hours at a plow day. There are a couple of short videos on my channel showing it plowing a garden.

This brings back a lot of memories. My dad bought one just like this when I was 12 or so. Took us forever how to hook up the plow as the previous owner didn't know either

Thanks for watching,Randall! I’m not sure if I even have it hooked up right. It pulls really nice in land that is in rotation. This is some really rough ground.

It's that tractor that began a lifelong love affair with them. Switched to blue tractors some time ago but have 3 of them

Loading the rear tyres with water and running as low tyre pressure as possible so that there are 3 lugs of the tyres in contact with the soil makes a big difference 👍 The old B is certainly a sweet running old tractor 🚜 great video from 🏴👍

Thanks for watching and the good advice! I’m sort of hem-hawing about adding weight till I cultivate with her. Reducing tire pressure is a good idea. I’ve always kept it where the lugs are flat to the ground but only one set. You’re in Scotland? I just found out my DNA is 56% Scottish.

@@MajorDiesel If you decide to add weight, use either windshield washer fluid or the beet juice 'rim guard', not chloride, as those won't rust your rims out.

The “B”s were good little tractors, good power for their size problem was getting traction.

I think new tires and some weight would help me. Our “soil” is super heavy clay.

Looks like the plow mount needs a little tweak as the tractor is drifting sideways. Tighten up the steering linkages and you'll have more fun riding around, not important for plowing but a good upgrade (I've gotten a lot of parts via yesterdays tractor website). I did that kind of plowing job breaking open an old field last year with my MF35 and two bottom plow. Plow some, tweak some, plow some more. It's about perfect the last few furrows! Measure the setup and write notes down for the following year. My brother picked up an AC B last month as a rescue and is making progress.

Thanks for watching and commenting! I’m sure it needs adjustment! We spent so much time adjusting the Major with a three bottom and the NAA with two, to no avail, that I really just wanted to get it done at this point. It plowed great in some spots and horribly in others lol. I’m planning on cultivating with this tractor next season so, I’m definitely gonna be tightening up the steering! “Theres’s always next year” seems to be a favorite saying of mine anymore lol.
