You know, I don't know if it is your inner energy, but you look so much more radiant and beautiful with your natural locs! You are truly growing into who you were always meant to be and it really shows! ^_^ peace and blessings on your beautiful loc journey!

There always seem to be KZitemrs cutting off their locs, and just as many getting locs, or at least the fake ones...I mean faux locs.😒Well, it's all keeping balance. Lol. Nice thing about locs is that just about everyone can grow them extremely long if they want to. Many people with locs do trim them for health, just like a plant. Enjoy your length at every stage, it's an awesome thing to see!

+Geraldine A You are so right! Not being afraid of getting your hair wet is such a relief! And to know that's what my hair really loves, it's the simplest, easiest thing ever. Locs aren't for everyone, but I'm glad we see them as beautiful :) Thanks for checking out the video!

Ah! That video title scared me! LOL. I couldn't even cut my first set of locs that were manicured locs, I just combed them out and freeformed from there :) I love locs too much to ever take scissors to them.

+NaturallyBec I can't even imagine cutting them! I do still get the question of how long I plan on growing locs, though. No plans at all ;) How were you able to comb out your locs?

+Lauren Jackson Let's just see how long we can grow them! And I just wet them, put on a deep conditioner and got to work, it was about a week and a half but I saved my length. I had like 180 small ones.

@PEACEGOD

I keep it simple as can be. I rinse every other other other day lol . Or randomly when I feel like it . Shampoo maybe once or twice a month . I don't wrap my locs but I do use satin pillow cases . I haven't used any coconut oil in about 8 months. My scalp is rarely dry though, I believe because of my diet . Nothing special here , as long as they are clean . I'll continue to just let them do what they want . They have been bringing Good energy and positive vibrations I think .

+Marjorie Banton my secret was just water! I know every person's hair may react differently, but when my locs were still very young, I wore a bonnet at night to keep them from unraveling. And in the morning, they were veryyy flat. So I would spray my hair with only water and massage my hair back to life! When the locs got more mature, I just wet my hair when I took a shower in the morning :) Hope that helped!
