@@ystconnection It all has to do with having a very good non-stick pan and the right temperature. If the heat is too low, it won't spiral. Too hot and the eggs will fry instead of becoming malleable.

For those that don't know, these eggs aren't like the ones here in the US. Eggs from places like Japan and Korea like these are from properly taken care of chickens and are safe to eat raw. There's no harm or risk to the person eating them. I myself still probably wouldn't eat raw eggs because the thought of it is gross to me, but eggs like this would no doubt taste really good

These are fully cooked. Just not overcooked. And you can make a normal omelet, but it wont split like the one here. As far as the tornado one, I think you can? It might just be harder to do.

Yeah. Sadly people don't know how to properly cook an omelette. But you know what is scarier, cooking them in front of a group of people. I have to do it every weekend and been doing for a very long time. Still nervous. And why it's hard to get a replacement person. The thing is it's not just a Skill, it's the Equipment and the Eggs that make all the difference and even how you whisk them. Hell, I use a Chinacap to get the eggs whisked just right and it removes the Chalaza. But I'm also cracking 15 dozen eggs to start with.

Cooking tip 101: never add oil and water together in hot temperatures. You should never fry an egg in a skillet with water, but you can poach it or boil it. If you use water to fry it, it will be a goopy and tasteless mess of mushiness.

Everything starts with one person and it spreads and becomes engrained in the cultural zeitgeist because it tastes good. That's the whole point of creating a dish.

its basically the same as the runny yolk in a sunny side up or poached egg. Also raw eggs are perfectly safe to eat in most countries out of the US

@@100_not_cuin8 that's why I didn't generalized. I cannot eat it, but some people can. My uncle used to mix a mixture of ingredients containing raw eggs and drinking it. Well done for those who enjoy or few safe eating a meal like the first recipe.

Everyone eats their eggs differently. People eat there eggs that way all the time. Just because you wouldn't eat it like that doesn't mean that it's not cooked enough for someone else. My mother likes her eggs cooked all the way through, I prefer mine soft, how they are in this video actually.

I realize that Asia doesn't have the same food safety problems we have here in the US (they can eat their eggs raw, we absolutely cannot) but I still prefer my eggs to be fully cooked, thank you.

Even in America the risk of getting sick even from fully raw eggs is only a tiny bit higher than in Japan, and both are negligible. You should wash your eggs though, because, if there is salmonella, it's on the shell. If eggs are stored and handled properly, they are pretty safe.

I've eaten plenty of raw eggs. The salmonella is on the shell if it's there at all (it isn't). It just doesn't happen with any regularity with commercial eggs

in asia food safety is even worse (especially in china, no chance of eating raw egg without salmonella), in EU you can eat eggs raw very safely

@@reginaldmontgomery7730 unless you are getting them fresh from a farm you shouldn't. In the US eggs can easily be contaminated by salmonella.
