This made me happy and sad. Elated at seeing how smart and gentle they are. Not a mean bone. Yet some humans still want to hunt them. That made me feel so sad!

Cat G I feel both emotions as well. I cry watching video clips of human contact via by a flipper or head touch or getting the magical opportunity to plant a kiss on them. I live in California and it's my dream for a chance to see these creatures face to face, and the mere thought of touching them would be magical and possibly spiritually humbling. 🐋 🐬 🌊 ❇

It seems the whales caught on to the fact they kept getting a reaction when they sprayed so they seemed to do more of it to keep getting a reaction (look, they seem to like it).

J ai remarqué que de plus en plus les cétacés les dauphins les phoques se rapprochent des humains jusqu a se laisser toucher et même caresser pour les baleineaux. Avant on ne voyait pas ça. Je pense que ça vx dire qq chose de bienveillant.

Never have I seen a more *boring, phlegmatic/unenthusiastic/humdrum/lackluster/unbothered/disinterested* group of whale watchers! It annoys the crap out of me! I mean, every group!?! Why did they even bother????? Sometimes, we see videos with people who are so excited, loud and emotional, that it too, is annoying, but the video in itself is so fulfilling, that one just have to overlook it! Am I wrong for feeling the way I do????? To me, this is *QUITE* an opportunity and should be met with much more display of joy and appreciation!
@crosswind76

When I see whale videos, I feel like I'd jump in and swim with the whales. I feel the urge just watching the video, and if I am there, I think I'm going to do it. They'd have to physically hold me back! :)
