I don’t know why people think squids have to be giant to be scary. Giant cuttlefish can be scary, too! Also, the humboldt squid itself is scary, and that’s still extant!

Great video. Fish are my expertise. The large filter feeding fish now are cartilaginous. While filter feeding bony fish are mostly small like sardines and herring. Seems there should be a large bony filter feeder.

My favorite time periods have to be the cambrian and the carboniferous, they had so many unique invertebrates! Its such a shame they went extinct, I would love to have a pet anomalocaris, and an arthropleura, maybe even a jaekelopterus!
