A song about the great Mongolian revolutionary Damdin Sükhbaatar. There are a couple references in this song that might need some explaining. Fort Kyakhta was the site of a major battle between Mongolian partisans and Chinese forces, resulting in a decisive victory for the Mongolians. The part with the whip and letter refers to Sükhbaatar's mission to smuggle a letter from the Bogd Khan through Chinese checkpoints. To do this, he hollowed out the handle of his whip and hid the letter inside.
