Bob's fantastic, he knows what's going on here but doesn't react and never strays from his own heart. The interviewer wanted to rile him up but no chance! She wanted some war and Bob focused on peace. Truly inspiring

I love how Bob patiently answered her idiotic questions. It seems like she went into this interview with the intent to make him look like a bad influence, and to make him angry on purpose so she could have an excuse to say "see this is a bad man that play bad music" However Bob didn't allow her to make him angry, and answered her so well there was nothing she could say. I love how when she told him his music and religion is making people traffic drugs and kill people in Canada, and Bob said, "That was happening in Canada before reggae music!" Lol 😂

Sandie Ronaldo (the reporter) on her interview : She lists interviews with John Candy, Gordon Lightfoot and Bob Marley as some of her favourites. “I wish I could do it again, because there were a lot of questions I asked that I probably shouldn’t have at the time,” she said of the Marley interview. “I was told by the news director at the time ‘be tough on him’ because he was advocating a certain type of lifestyle that people should be aware of,” Rinaldo recalled. “I think now, with the wisdom of age, I would have taken a whole different approach because he was an icon. “These are lessons you learn as you do your job.”

That is one smart man and an amazing singer he had the right idea and tried to spread it around the world unfortunately people don't look deep in the meaning of the songs. Ppl see oh he smokes weed he's a rasta therefore he's bad what's wrong with smoking weed it's natural and there are no bad side effects unlike cigarettes and alcohol which are legal come on ppl weed is only illegal because canibas can replace a lot of major industries such as oil and paper and the government won't see that happen because they make too much money off of it and the government is for the people bullshit I'm not saying all rastas are good but just because you are a rasta doesn't mean you are bad there are bad people in every group of religions and they aren't bad because of their religion they are bad because they make bad decisions. Oh ya one more thought saying all rastas are weed smugglers is like saying all Columbians are coke smugglers, or all Muslims are terrorists

remember this is the 70ies...and the reporter is probably one of the few (or first ) female reporters on TV. She needs to report back to the system that he acknowledges his wrong ways. She basically needs to have the interview with herself, because she is trying to force him to say what she wants to hear (what her lords want to hear)... This is what' going on. Poor child - she did not know that he would be an eternal of music - beloved by all races, peoples and nations! A symbol of piece!

this woman is just insulting Rastafari, and being pretty questioning; not conversing, but rather alienating this kind of alternative lifestyle - "the way you look, right, to most people who are quite conserving in dress, you look quite strange...that you advocate smoking marijuana." uh, yeah lady...he does smokes marijuana and looks different... but did you hear any of what his music is about, or why it was you were even doing this interview? Oh right - Bob Marley was responsible for an appeal for peace between two guys who were way against one another... let's talk about that, because this world has been at war since this video, and before also - the planet as a whole is always at war - Rastafari thinking and what Bob Marley was spreading was peace, love, and caring - unity, instead of survival of the fittest/richest.. we could use that mentality.

When you look at this in a different perspective, weed clearly shows no signs of violence or anger because if bob wasn't stoned there's possibly a higher chance he would have lost his shit with that reporter. Could be wrong. but when it comes down to weed being illegal and alcohol being legal, which one deserves legality based on every positive about weed and the lack of positives with alcohol?
