Bob Sapp just added a new job to his resume. The former MMA and kickboxing sensation is now Vice President of ROAD FC in charge of Global PR.
Sapp is not the man you think he is. Well, maybe he is a little crazy, but behind those freaky eyes and hulking beastliness is an active and productive mind. From his college football days through his post-fighting career, Sapp has continually put thought and effort into making the most of every opportunity.
Sapp announced his retirement from professional MMA last year with a startling claim of retiring with $10 million USD in the bank. He is debt-free after many years in many different jobs, and soon he'll start sharing the financial tools that have put him there.
In this interview with Sapp, he discusses some of the ways he ended up retiring from fighting with $10 million USD in the bank. Much of it was grasping at opportunities many might not have seen, like how his controversial fighting career segued to a KZitem fortune. Plus things like pachinko and slot machines, and how they started a backlash of Japan taxation on the fighters through the "Bob Sapp Law":
Sapp also sits atop three university degrees. He explained how he got them all, and that he's still looking at yet another degree in his future.
Bob Sapp is much more that just a beast.
