This video was filmed a few weeks ago before the lockdown just after Storm Denis. The River Thames tide was beautifully low and consequently there were a few unexpected finds waiting for me! Join me as I get my wellies on and go down to the river to see what I can find. There are bound to be a few pipes, but what else might be waiting at the low tide mark? On this I find a very unexpected 17th Century trader's token which is a first for me and very exciting to say the least! I also then nearly lose it again.
Then after our mudlark come back to the studio with me where I find out a little more about my finds. And there are some that you can help me with as usual!
If you are thinking of giving mudlarking a try after the lockdown then you do need a permit from the Port of London Authority to do so. You can find the details here:-
