Jim, so glad that it impressed you. It's been my new favorite since last fall. My favorite thing is the taste. It's so complex. It sucks a "wow!" out of you after the 1st sip. Can't imagine what the 24 ounces felt like afterwards.

And I hit a Kilt Lifter after that. It made editing the video interesting. Funny thing is, I did finally figure out a problem with Premiere, so maybe the alcohol helped. :) Thanks again!

Nice friend and review. I may have to up my game from Kilt Lifter and try this. I don't need a reason to have a quality beer. 😁

This stuff makes Kilt Lifter taste like Coors Light. Hits a lot harder too.

I like beer that mirrors my personality, so IPA it is - "hoppy & bitter" !!! Hey, I'm a bourbon guy - I ought to try and find this Dragon's Milk :D Thanks for the review! I think if I reviewed alcohols, it'd be "yep, liked this one, pouring another" "Yep, liked this one too [hiccup] pouring another" "Yep, this third, or was that fourth? yeah, that was good too, pouring amother!"

My wife likes IPAs, so I leave them to her. If I had a couple mugs of this stuff, I’d be done for a bit. It’s not a lightweight beer. Thanks for commenting.

That beer looks like Guiness beer.

It's over 2x the alcohol content though. Almost 3x really.

Sounds interesting but I am a firm believer in the German purity law when it comes to beer.

I had to rewrite this as I was trying to respond from the notifications drop down and that can screw up by closing on its own. OK. A german told me the purity laws kind of limit what they make over there and he wishes it wasn't so. I guess YMMV. I like Späten. I've had a few of their brews. Warsteiner is like german Budweiser. Sort of. I've had other stuff too. There is a german biergarten in Phoenix too, Edelweiss. I have to go there some time. Anyway, the US has a lot more variety. I just don't go for IPAs. My wife loves them, but it's not my thing. Most of the time I drink Fat Tire or Stella, with the occasional kilt lifter. There is a Scot owed microbrew in Mesa, Lochiel, that makes a jacobite ale that's 13%. It's similar to this but without the bourbon notes. Other than that, I usually have a bottle of 18 yo Macallan sherry cask or Mezcal Ilegal Anejo on hand. Those are for Thursday evenings when the week is done. Thanks for commenting, as usual.

@@my.motorrad That sounds like all great stuff. I have had to abstain from any significant carbs due to having slid into the diabetic range recently after being prediabetic over the last few years but now have it under control due to forgoing many food and drink items. I used to home brew. Have you tried that yet?

@@cycletron I haven't tried my own brewing yet. I worry about diabetes as it runs in dad's family as they got older. usually mid to late 60s. So far my numbers are ok, but you never know. Maybe keto is in your future. It's a tough regiment to follow, but it works. Dr Ken D Berry is a pretty good source of info RE Keto and ailments like diabetes. He has a YT channel. I need to get back to some sort of control. Anyway...I hope you and yours are well.

@@my.motorrad I will check out his channel. Looks like we were able to connect on IG. I am still a rank novice on that platform.

@@cycletron IG is pretty easy. I have the most problems with Premiere. Adobe changed a color space setting and it whacked things out. I might go back to Final Cut Pro or Resolve.
