On 16 February 2019 we turned up at the now defunct Easton Harriers meet in Stutton, Suffolk. In addition to hounds chasing a hare across a road, sabs also dealt with a possibly drunk and definitely angry Rob Hammond, (now) former gamekeeper for Stutton Hall.

The confrontation led to police action against both Hammond and, in a weak attempt at slinging mud, at one of our sabs. Legal proceedings have now resolved so we're bringing you footage of Hammond's actions on the day. They led to his receiving a police caution. As a result he lost his gun licence, making his position as gamekeeper no longer tenable. Legal action against our sab was dropped before reaching court due to lack of evidence.
This isn't the first time Hammond and his band of merrily drunken men have tried picking a fight with us. At the same meet in 2018, Hammond's football hooligan pals threatened physical violence against a sab and monitor and ultimately smashed the car window of the monitor. And in 2017, Hammond's right hand man physically grappled with a sab while attempting to steal her map.
