Thank you for this. I was looking for a much simpler flat look and I used this tutorial to get me there. Once I did what I was looking to do, I ended up also implementing the 3D effect using a client's logo and applied a title on top using a bundle I bought from you guys. Such a fantastic skill under my belt, so thank you. I ended up creating my own template for this to use for future projects. Couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks!

Very helpful video though I do have one question. Can you make the moving pattern different shapes in a line? E.g. circle, square, triangle, circle square, triangle etc?
@aaronrothwell7615
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, though if you did it exactly like this tutorial, you would end up with columns of symbols, if that makes sense. If that works for you great, otherwise you may need to build a staggered offset version, then pre-compose that and then carry on like in the video

If you cant see x and y rotation look in the left bottom corner and click on the third empty box on the right of "object" under the 3d layer icon (it looks like a 3d box)

How did you get that cross in the center?
@andrewpach
3 жыл бұрын
Position the Anchor Point in the center of the cross (CTRL+ALT+HOME) or "Y" and move it by hand. Then Window > Align and from the align tab just hit Align Horizontally and Align Vertically. It will position the object in the middle of the current composition based on anchor point.

With Glow on I cant render the file. After Effects is going to slow down A LOT. I have an ryzen 2600x and gtx 1070ti and cant render such an background with glow effect turned on. Keeps crashing or 2 seconds of the background needs about 10 hours to render. someone have experience with that issue? already searched for a fix, nothing found yet! ;(

@Rofif Yahya i haven't tried other render settings yet. yesterday i used glow effect on some text layers, but the render is working. I noticed that when im rendering something with glow turned on, it still needs more time than glow turned off. I think its normal, but I think you could speed it up a little bit by changing some settings in after effects like @No Calm said. Recentrly I searched again how to speed up rendering and stuff, but nothing really helped me for now. Maybe u should try out what @No Calm told me.
