Honestly from just researching today it seems like Elvis would have married her if not for his promise to Priscillas family. Seems like even elvis' friends preferred ann. Not to mention Elvis sent her flowers for every performance she did in Vegas, all the way until he died. That's actually how she found out, is when Elvis didn't send her flowers that day.

I love this scene. What stands out to me is how cool Elvis dance moves were. Nothing fancy but had so much style and fit his music so well. I remember a line from the TV show Happy Days. Somebody said your the coolest Fonz, and somebody said what about Elvis? Fonz says Elvis is close. That was a huge compliment coming from the Fonz. No one ever was or ever will be as cool as Elvis.
@ElvisRose_
2 жыл бұрын
Elvis was cool decades before being cool was even a thing which makes Elvis even cooler since he wasn’t even trying. That was not simply before his time but before our current time. It’s really no understatement that Elvis has influenced generations and you could have a lengthy conversation about it without even talking about his music. Take his impact on the fashion world, if you have ever donned a black leather ensemble, feminine colors, popped a collar, or worn a Hawaiian shirt, it’s because Elvis made it cool in the first place. Hell, for a man who has been unfairly criticized for “stealing,” black culture yet Tupac followed Elvis’ fashion footsteps by rocking a gold lamé jacket and black paints in addition to being the first exception to the rule of never wearing white socks with black shoes before Michael Jackson was born let alone wore his first pair of shoes.

As someone who was laughed at by my parents for dancing when I was little, I've always been bumbling and declined to take a step in public. Once a friend of mine had gone through a traumatic break-up and was left with tickets to a private dinner on New Year's Eve iwith Tony Bennet performing in the Rainbow Room on top of the Empire State Building. My friend begged me to come with him so he could be with his friends, even though I protested that I can't dance. That night, Tony Bennet started to croon and my friend pulled me onto the dance floor. As soon as we'd taken two steps, he said: "You really CAN'T dance, can you?" So dance like when I'm home alone? This is beyond even what I'd dance like during a deep sleep in a sublime dream!
