IMPORTANT: At the end of this video I detail how to copy over the "Annual Tracker" tab from the Ultimate Money and Goal Dashboard. To avoid error messages, please also copy over the "Investments" and "Debts" tabs in the same way! This will ensure no links are broken causing "REF" warning messages. My deepest apologies for the confusion!!

Great video! I’ve been binging your channel. Love finding great Canadian creators 🇨🇦 Can I ask why you have so many credit cards? No judgement, I’m just wondering if there is a reason behind it. If you use each of them for something different? Thanks 😊
@GabbyPeterson17

Agreed! I love finding other Canadians creators as well. Yes of course! I have been credit card swapping for a while, I will sign up with a new card if they have a great deal on sign up points and then what I usually do once my first year is up is I will downgrade the card to a free version and that way I can keep my credit limit high to have a low overall utilization. I am in the process of cutting them back tho, I have too many 😂 I currently mainly use the Neo credit card, RBC Avion, and this year I upgraded my AMEX cobalt to the AMEX Gold to get the sign up points but will likely go back to the cobalt after my year is up. Neo I use wherever their cash back is offered, AMEX for most other things so I can rack up travel miles, and RBC is my long time favorite that I use for anything else! Hope that cleared it up!

Thanks for the explanation! Do you find RBC Avion is worth it for the travel perks? I just have a PC Mastercard for PC points but travel points are enticing.

Hi Gabby, I tried to update the annual tracker spreadsheet as you did in the video at the end. However, my annual debt and investment tabs don't recognize the new annual spreadsheet. I was hoping you can help. Thanks for creating this fantastic tool, as it has helped track my spending and savings.

Ooh you are correct!! Interesting, let me play around with the spreadsheet and figure out why that is happening. I figured if the spreadsheet name remained the same it would sync up! I'll get back to you shortly!

If you click into a cell and press enter does it resolve? Looks like that fixes it for me, but annoying it isn't automatically recognizing the Annual Tracker. I am able to quickly resolve by continually pressing enter.

@@BrigitteCheong I found a work around!! If you copy over the Investments and Debts sheets the same way you did for the Anuual Tracker, this will link everything correctly.

I‘m in Italy right now in Bologna - and just to let you know - vegan isn’t really a thing here. I would recommend- if you book your hotels - maybe look into booking hostels but use their private rooms. That way you can supplement with your own cooked meals in the hostel kitchens - it will also save you money. Also IF the hotel doesn’t offer plant milks for their breakfast just buy a Tetra Pak that you can use for the breakfast coffee. Also a latte macchiato is just hot frothed milk- order a cappuccino instead.

Wow no way! So jealous. Enjoy all the pasta and bread. Thanks for the heads up!! A kitchen would be great to cook some meals. Great ideas, and I do love a cappuccino! 💕

I love your vlogs and just bought the Etsy budget planner! I had a question- if my retirement investments (Roth 401k) come out of my paycheck before I even see it, would I include that in my budget? My paychecks are post-deduction so it seems to throw my budget off since it’s taken out before I even see the money, if that makes sense. Also would you consider peer-to-peer payment cashouts like Venmo as an income? Thanks so much!!!
@GabbyPeterson17

Hi Kelsey! Thanks so much for your comment and for supporting me with your purchase!! I hope you love the budget planner! Great question. So I think this depends on whether you want to track those contributions or not. If so, I would find out what your pre-retirement deduction pay is, insert that as your income and then under investments, add your deduction. That way you can look at the annual tracker at the end of the year and track how much you invested total! If you’re not interested in tracking your investments, then you can budget as usual with the amount that hits your account and leave out the investment portion so it doesn’t throw off your numbers. I do track all income that comes in because I like the Cash Account and Credit Account balances at the top left of each budget to be accurate. Any time money hits my chequing or other cash accounts, I treat that as income. What I will do is make other income categories in the setup for things like Venmo so that if I want to see how much I made from my job alone, then that is in the paycheck category. I hope that made sense! Let me know if not.
