While the profiles in the Sony ZV-1 do have a slightly different 'colour profile' I have found that they don't 'clash' with each other if you use different profiles in the same film. As long as you don't film in the same place with a different profile and then patch them together!!
Since the colours look pretty good from most of them, I choose whichever blows out highlights the least and in post, reduce the black level. After that, I may alter the gamma slightly if the picture needs it. That way, highlights can be retained while still retaining healthy black levels.
The Picture Profiles are one of the things that I really like about the ZV-1 because it really does help in difficult lighting situations.
