I used to stare at that snare for hours as a kid a guitar center. This one guy would let me play it occasionally even though I obviously couldn't afford it. Shout out to that guy. One day it will be mine xp

I have the red version of this snare, absolute beast with the HD Dry on top. Definitely one of the best snares Pearl has made.

I agree, it does sound amazing with the HD dry. I forgot about the red version. Looks sick.

Ive wanted 1 the joey snare but since his passing they have went up in cost and only used still readily available. But his name and memory of my idol lives on. Love nathan jonas jordison😢

He was one of my favorite drummers when I was growing up. I hope you get your hands on one some day.

So this is more of a detailing/head change/refreshing, than a makeover 😂 Looks good anyway.

Yeah, you could say that. Just curious... What would you consider a makeover?

@@QLXDrums I thought you might change the hardware, at least, but I was originally thinking somehow you'd change the shell-- though I was a tad bewildered why someone would makeover a Jordison snare. Then again, I've modified instruments and such that might surprise others, so I guess I wasn't that bewildered.

How often do you apply grease to the tension rods?
@QLXDrums

Whenever they feel like they're getting hard to turn. This was the first time on this drum.
