No panel on the market available to consumers delivers 100mw/cm2 unless you use a solar meter to test it instead of the meter you're supposed to use. That's what all of the companies do - they use the solar meters to get a much higher reading. Generally, the solar meters read about 2x what the actual meter reads. Because of this, I think he means 100mw/cm2 using a solar meter or 50 w/ the correct meter. Look up Alex Fergus' youtube channel. He tests a lot of panels.

Thanks. You are right - the solar meter readings are 2-3x higher than the actual figures. There are some panels now putting out close to 100mw/cm2 at 6inches, but most sit around 40-60mw/cm2

This advice is completely contrary to the scientific studies themselves. And most of the studies are done using red light with skin contact. This guy's answer is not science-based.
