This is a hand-cranked axial flux alternator, rectified to produce about 12 to 16 volts of direct current electricity. The following presentation is about its design and build.
Great informative detailed explanation, 10 years of time since this video uploaded and i am still learning.

Many builders say use magnet width but make coil a bit longer makes more voltage.

Cool design that's about it. Not built for efficiency by any means.

Can you teach me the formula for the number of turns? Relationship between voltage, power generation, rotors rotation speed and number of turns of coil. Thank you very much.

Why not placing the coils differently. I would rotate your coils by 90 degrees so that the magnetic filed would cross the longer side of the coil thus producing more electricity.

From what he is saying, there's no other solution then his. AND, I'd say that a video of stills is worthless and even moreso since the end product was not demonstrated. Heck, he doesn't even show it working in a photo. Wasted my time.
