Hey there great vids i learned something i did not know thanks

I have learned a lot since making my first alternators. Make the stator no more than twice as thick as the magnets are thick. So for 1/4" thick mags, 3/8-7/16" thick with some airgap. So within that thickness you have to get your copper wire. Thicker wire fewer turns. More turns higher voltage more resistance. Think of the wire as a fire hose. Pressure is voltage, diameter of hose is resistance. For maximum power you want a big hose and lots of pressure. Let me design something for you.

When I was first learning this is one way I made coils. You are right. Its not the optimal. What I find though is if the alternator is weak the Turbine still can force it to put out the same power (to a point). Now I make alternators as high efficiency as possible so they can be smaller, and more economical.

@davevanden1 Not sure if you mean placing another stator between the magnet plates or another below a single magnet plate. But the concept of adding the two outputs from two stators is sound. Think of each stator as a battery - adding them doubles voltage. The flux will be weaker if you spread two magnet plates and voltage will drop on both. If you mean one magnet plate the flux going through to a second stator will be very weak. But try it.

Hi, thanks for the vids there a big help... I am currently building a 3 phase generator, the input is wired 'spider' and the out put has a capaicitor the 2 diodes 'y' shaped with another capaictor joining the 2, as shown in your video. I am linking the 3 phases together in series. Can I ask, if I simply link the to positive and negatives from my series circuit to a dc to ac grid tie inverter would that be me linked up to the local grid or do I need more equipment to steady the pulses? Thanks in advance

LynxSteam, How do you determine the size wire for the current that you need to draw from the generator.

hi markus question for you will this work??? i have one stator with mag plate on top and bottom 12 coils set up in star. can i make another exact unit and not hook up in star just have in and out on it and hook the other unit to it with short wires. reason is I dont want a stator 2 feet round lol so I thought stack them to double the voltage. right now i have 2 -18g 70 turns and it turns at the slightest wind it is the optimum so far. It'saround 6 to 10 volts all day long thanks Dave

+LynxSteam The best is to wind clockwise and counterclockwise and Buck the electrons with High Frequency Diodes and Non-Polarised Capacitors for frequency matching. How? Assuming you have 12 coils, wind 6 in CW and another 6 in CCW. ::::::HINT:::::: On your Jig, wind all coils in clockwise direction while on your Stator, arrange the coils in CC;CCW fashion i.e you simply turn or flip on of the Clockwise wound coils 90° to make it really appears Counterclockwise. So for every pair of clockwise wound coils, you simply flip one to make it CCW. Now arrange the 12 coils in CW, CCW, CW.... You will see that every pair of coils at 180° are in same direction either Clockwise and counterclockwise direction. Now connect the pair at 180° in series by joining the Start lead wire one to the End wire of the other. Now , you have just Canceld **LENZ**!!! Thereafter, get 2 High Frequency Diodes and attach there cathodes to the 2 remaining leads of the 180° apart coils. Measure your Alternator RPM and convert it to Hearthz. Measure the inductance and resistnce of your serially connected 180° apart coils use an online Resonance frequency calculator to determine the Capacitor needed to connect across the two leads of the serially connected 180° apart coils. Do the same for the remaining pairs and connect the positive output in parallel and tap your Negative from the Ground(Rel Earth) Massive Power Output you will have.

Hello. How do you specify how much and how many turns of wire you should wrap?
@larryswindcatcher

Marcus, why are you using round coils instead of triangular coils? One of the 3 rules for electric generation from magnets is that the flux is only wiped by the area of the coil that is perpendicular to the travel of the magnet. A round coil only has about an inch of perpendicular generating area on each side whereas a triangular coil would have about 4 perpendicular inches on each side? Other than that-- nice demonstration.

i have 10 rectangle n52 grade neodymium they are 10mm thick, 50mm wide, 100 long. I want to build a generator for a microhydro off grid power source. How do I calculate the amount of windings that i need?

cZJRE211 the work/expense of graphene would make it not even worth it, besides if I'm not mistaken it's close to copper on conductivity.. it just can handle more amps on a pound to pound ratio

hello friend good day, I'm a project of this here in Brazil. but I do not know how to connect the stator connection and stele are 12 neodymium magnets and 9 bombinas. bombinas I know the call, plus the three stages I do not know how I turn to feed this battery and my primero project I am starting this generator design can help me in any way.?

hi i looked thru the topics. can you help me im a english teacher, i have no idea what im doing i just look at videos n started to make this a few years ago saving money month after month. now i have 36 magnet 4in x 2in x 20mm neos, 3 disk the one in the middle has 9 each side nsnsnsnsn facing out the opposite side is nsnsnsnsn facing in n snsnsnsns facing coils.after coil outer disk 9 mags, now help plz on the north i put coils + to N on the S i put -of coil facing itsoat top dead center im having n to + s to - .IS this idea ok. well it make power. next 9 coils 3 phase do i do the same +-+-+-+-+ on the stater alternate the pos n neg same im doing magnets to match the n to pos n the S to - side of coils so at TDC its replelling, also i have 9 coils 3 phase how do i do the three pase i was going to do one each badini sg style since my coils are wound 7 20 ga 1 24. ga n usethe trgger diag to make 3 circuit board with 100omh r 1n4001 d n 1n4007 d n 400v 20a t how do i put this all together now please can you help anthonyolivera@yahoo.com

Are you concerned about the coils sitting side by side? And, what about the empty spaces in the middle of the coils? This is clearly not the efficient way to make a winding!

Gees Markus, your statement is a contradiction of terms and makes no science sense, it does however, speak volumes as to how easily you are duped by Steve Hansel aka Guru sjh7132- us-vawt.com Least not forget your measly 300 watt alternator that you guys sold Bob Mann could not even produce 300 watts and I will bet it contained round coils- not triangular coils.

But try it.
