I was in the second grade watching this PPV at my aunt’s house. The whole family was there and Austin’s arrival and The Rock’s victory made us go nuts. And when they toasted each other after the match, my brother and I mimicked them with Sprite. Good times. Rest well, big bro.

If Rocky ever returned to the ring again he should use this theme, his best theme ever created.

@@austin6735The Argument as to why he changed his theme song when he came back is because he is alot older now and not the young man he once was and lastly that it wouldn't fit him in today's world. I do not agree with that statement because he already is a legend and it wouldn't have hurt him if he kept his theme just like Austin did. Plus, the theme is so iconic and you can instantly tell who it is once it plays in the arena.

Yes. The Rock deserved a championship win at the main event of a Wrestlemania, which he never got, and this reaction is worthy of a Wrestlemania ending with Austin going berserk and the crowd going nuts Would have been perfect, and 2000 was a great year for wwe, but Wrestlemania was their weakest point that year ironically

The story goes that Vince had this match planned for wrestlemania but Austin was still too injured to do the run in so they were forced to postpone it for backlash - looking at how stiffly stone cold was moving, and the fact he didn't take any bumps, only used a chair you can kind of tell he is still not 100% even here.

I’m probably in the minority on this but I find lawler as the over the top heel announcer insufferable. “There’s that fired referee earl hebner! He’s fired! How can he referee he’s fired” like dude shut up. His high pitched “what?!” When Austin’s music first plays
