This was a short overnight trip in Saguaro National Park near Tucson, AZ to Douglas Spring Campground from the Cactus Forest Trailhead. If you're wondering why I didn't take one of the much shorter ways to get to that spot, it's because this was originally intended to be a longer 4 day loop hike. It was cut short by some stuff going on at home that needed my attention, so I decided to just do an overnight instead. Consider this a short recon trip for when I do a much longer 5 day trip out there later on. I was still able to capture some interesting stuff out there - including a ton of insect activity like butterflies, moths, ants. Interesting foliage too: plenty of the park's namesake cacti in the lower elevations; and pinyon, juniper, manzanita, cottonwoods, even pines at the upper elevations. Though I did not get into the pines on this trip. Footage ends after I make camp. Thanks for watching!
