Not many new drivers own or drive a stick anymore! it's a anti theft device now a days

Almost all "regular" cars are automatic trans now- I don't think you can even order a stick shift, any more, unless it's a performance car, like a Camaro, or Corvette. But with trucks, you can. I would like to know the percentage of manual-trans trucks sold. True story: on the TV news one morning, they told about someone who tried to steal a car at a carwash. He jumped in, tried to drive away, but couldn't shift it. He jumped out and ran away.

Just a suggestion, when you get a vehicle with EVAP codes, could you do a video on it. Prefer 1st gen Tacoma w/ 2.7. Thanks, Peter.
@LAactor

He only does videos with problems customers bring. IF you are near the northern cali border maybe you can bring it but set an appointment first. Otherwise search his videos, there likely have been many evap items and mostly all toyota vehicles are same in the US emissions, in diagnosis. Parts may be different but concept same or very similar

Hello Sir I don't know if this is the proper way to try and reach out to you about a problem I unfortunately have currently.. Its a right rear axle seal and bearing replacement for my 2000 Toyota tundra 4wd v8 Abs.. long story short, My mechanic neighbor took it upon himself to use a angular grinder to remove collars and other items from spindle 😂.. its a disaster . I didn't even ask him for help.. What do I do?
@LAactor
Жыл бұрын
There is no right way to ask unless you are wanting to have him repair it. Sometimes he will answer in a future video briefly. But do not expect it. Also not sure of your question or location, but in many places in the field, a cutting wheel to remove the press in bearing still stuck after removal is not uncommon at all. You should be considering yourself lucky to have a mechanic close you can trust. And if you did not ask him to do the job, how did he know about it and gain access to your vehicle to do the necessary repairs? Do you not like how he did it? You cannot dictate how a professional applies his skills. Do not make a long story short in times of auto repair. Missing details will result in incorrect diagnosis. But next time, just take it to a dealer if you are concerned about "a disaster."
