Me PERSONALLY, I'd like to see the balanced "tags" in one color, and the "unbalanced" in ANOTHER color. It's less confusing. Like, "wait, which did I just see?"

Stumbled on your channel by accident and I'm absolutely loving it. It helped me to navigate a very complex talk with my friend where there were sooooo many emotions involved and there was a lot of pain but also a lot of love. And in the end we managed to let love shine through. Thank you!

So grateful for this platform especially living on the spectrum. These queues aren’t so obvious. others, mostly neuro-typical individuals, make the assumption that this knowledge is innate within each of us and therefore the topic is rarely discussed. Thank you

*Get the Social Interactions Handbook:* shop.beacons.ai/niu.views/socialinteractionshandbookniuviews *STUDY NOTES:* - IMBALANCED: aggression or inferiority in delivery, is energy-intensive. - BALANCED: clear, direct, eye-level in delivery, is sustainable in energy. - When we're balanced: we blend soft and sharpness in our speech - we can be emotionally expressive while keeping it honed. - *EXERCISE:* record yourself saying these common phrases, try different takes shifting your inner intentions from inferior to superior to balanced, and watch yourself back and see if you can notice the subtle differences - "No, thank you." "I'm busy today" "I disagree/I see it differently" "I would like this" "it's going to be okay" "I love you" - BALANCED DELIVERY: express softness and sharpness naturally and honestly, ability to live regulate nervous system (active breathing, speed changes, pauses, ability to shift between inner and outer consciousness), ability to live regulate inner and outer emotions - How we THINK and FEEL on the INSIDE is key - meditate to know this as a fact. - INTENTION, BALANCE, BREATHE. *EMOTIONAL REGULATION:* when we are acutely aware of how interconnected we are - we naturally become conscious of how our inner state influences another in live moments. So when we feel ourselves starting to get too superior (e.g. getting triggered, getting defensive, tunnel judgments) or too inferior (e.g. shut down, self-pity, self-doubt), we breathe, and shift our emotions and intentions back to a balanced state (e.g. let me try to understand them OR let me gently diffuse to take time and space to reflect). *THE UNLEARNING TO RELEARNING JOURNEY:* 1. Get to know our natural expressions without labels, see the polarizing ends of each expression to see where imbalances are (e.g. reactive anger to confident excitement) 2. Practice live nervous system and emotional regulation 3. Become highly observant (and likely stoic) 4. Begin to express with emotions more again 5. Become confident with knowing the 'limits' and 'edges' of our expressions 6. Experience liberation and play with emotional expressions *Book Coaching with me:* shop.beacons.ai/niu.views/EnergyCoachingwithArielNiu

Thanks for sharing 👍🏾 I do believe that balance and controled reactions , tone either sharp or soft matters when communicating and will help maintain peace and harmony if practiced intentionally. 😊 Peace and blessings now and in the New Year 🎉 2024🎉

Wonderful examples and explanations as always!!! I really appreciate your material, you are very clear & very helpful. I tend to be way too sharp and dominant even when it's absolutely not necessary and unlearning that kind of speech pattern & energy is really hard. Your videos are very helpful to visualize the energy I am aiming at. THANK YOU ❤

I love your videos soo much! I watch Charisma on Command, but seeing the comparisons side by side by the same person help me notice the difference so much more and gives way more realism than seeing celebrities in a show, TV, or podcast. Both of you have helped me a lot, Thank u. 💗💗

I just went through and did the study exercises + recorded myself and DAMN was it helpful. I realized I often come from a place of imbalanced inferiority, but the sharpness of my delivery and forceful gestures can in fact make it come across as *superiority*. Another helpful exercise: record yourself saying NOTHING and pretending you're just in a Zoom meeting, listening to one of your colleagues speak (imagine you're the little box that others see). Be imbalanced inferior, imbalanced superior, and balanced. How is your "listening" / "processing" face? I noticed tend to "tail wag" and I tend to want to smile and nod a lot to show that I'm listening, and my eyes dart around the screen going between looking at myself in the corner and looking at the presenter. LOL.

This is one of the realest videos I have ever watched - soo helpful and very insightful. Gained a new sub for sure! Also, are you familiar with Dialogic (Public Relations) Theory? Essentially, there's an idea of staying true to yourself (similar to the SHARP) versus being open to the other (SOFT) and the theory argues that the best communication/relations occur when we stay in that tension (the BALANCE) of both areas. Parallels exactly what you said, but the way you said it in relation to practical application really really helps!

Could you give advice on how to deal with envious people? for example when there's an awkward energy when you're around each other in a work or class setting--I am not sure whether I should do anything about it. I have heard it is good to give them a compliment, but I also don't want to be people-pleasing. Also what to do when someone compliments you and then puts themself down or comments people make to make you feel uncomfortable about your style/wealth.

Do you have advice for smiling when speaking and resting listening face? Sometimes I get self conscious because I always deliver my words with a slight smile when speaking, but this can kind of lead to my face feeling frozen or like I'm wearing a mask, and it imbalances my energy (imbalanced inferior). Same goes for when listening in conversation. Yet it feels SO unnatural to not force myself to wear a slight smile all the time, I feel like it makes my expression kind of lifeless. How do you navigate this? I think this is particularly true for a lot of women.
