@@shefreelyroams Hi Christine. Im just revisiting your walk due to the fact me and my son have just had a couple of days staying in Edale with my brother. We walked from his cottage in Edale to Ladybower Reservoir. Very breezy and lots of ups and downs with a steep descent to the reservoir itself. We didnt get as far as the dam but it was a stunning area albeit very muddy after all the rain. We saw Bamford edge in the distance what a viewing point that is! We also went up Mam Tor from Castleton the day after before heading home. What a gorgeous little place that is. So many walks and so much beauty 😍

Dear Christine, A very nice hike, thanks for sharing the video 🤗 You had chosen the most beautiful point for your break. A great view and a great nature. During the ascent and descent I noticed the fern, it seemed to me to be a lot of fern 😊 The purple flower that you filmed is called "red thimble" with us, this wild flower is known in pharmacy. The spare wheel is beautiful and I have already written to you for my preference for wild swimming. I can imagine that it is forbidden there 🚫 Thanks for the video Christine and have a nice weekend ☀ Kind regards Gerold

Thanks Gerold - happy to hear you enjoyed this video too 😊💛 & yes very varied walk to enjoy! The purple flower is known here as Foxgloves - beautiful contrast to the ferns.
