Well done on the build. You should paint the latches on the canopy with a bright color as a reminder of the danger of not to be careful. Like most real aircraft’s have to their crew who flies them too.

Looks awesome, particularly the cockpit lighting. No glass for the canopy though?
@modelsbychris

Nope, no glass. I don't use the glass on any kit. Catches reflections. They never used glass in the ILM models either because of that same reason.

That's not the barrel of the aft gun. That is a magnetic tow cable launcher. That bit on the end is what attached to the AT-AT in the film. Other than that, this build is AMAZING!
@modelsbychris

Well, at least it would still have to be hollowed out anyway to launch the harpoon. I know the cable comes from the bottom rear of the speeder.
@TrayChester01

@@modelsbychris The tip of the launcher where you hollowed it out IS the magnetic cylinder part that launches out. If you wanted, you could clip the cylinder off and make it appear "in flight", then drill the barrel part that remains from removing the cylinder tip.

That is nice work 👍. Just one thing that i would like to know is. Is the snow speeder capable of space operations 🤔
@TrayChester01

No, the T-47 airspeeder is a surface repulsorlift vehicle. In-atmosphere only.

Part of the fun of watching your builds is to try and predict what techniques you have used in the past on your current builds. That said, I'm REALLY surprised you didn't remove the gun-barrels, replace them with copper tubing, and have a lighting/shooting effect (think you did this on an X-wing build). Same for the engines in the back. It's still an amazing build!! What a great Christmas present to watch the reveal! Thanks as always, Chris! All of your builds are next-level!! :)

I didn't do it with the engines because they don't light up in the movies.
