Santi- this is a great beginners project and will be really great for the drooling. Get a basic domestic sewing machine and play with it to become more comfortable with it. You’ll be sewing those bibs in no time. 😊

I'm a beginner and like to practice with easy projects, as it builds confidence and excitement about progressing to more challenging projects. when the previous one went well. One recommendation I would make is to use a dark thread so that it is more visible. I found it challenging to see the stitching. Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us.

Why do you use an overlock or serger?
@TheCraftyAuthor
5 жыл бұрын
Hi Sandy- Using an overlocking stitch or serger makes a clean edge on garments, bags or like in this case, a baby bib. You can use a straight stitch, but using the overlocking stitch or serger gives it a more professional, finished look. 😊

Hi Stephanie- I get my fabrics from a lot of different places. I usually buy from Missouri Star Quilt Company online, my local quilt store or Joanns. These fabrics came from Joanns. I find that they have a great selection of flannel prints and they are super cute! ❤️

Missy DeClercq I purchased this ruler years ago, so it is possible that they no longer make it. I’m not sure why they would stop making it, but it appears that it is no longer available. I saw some 12” triangle rulers on Walmart and also on another site, but it looks like they don’t have them in stock. This is the closest that I could find to what I have.
