The footpaths here are much better than some other parts of the town. This helps people a lot to avoid traffic and accident.

One of the best videos I have seen. In🔴 photography as well as annotation. We hoped that the filming was permanent on the bike. Really, photography is beautiful and fun. I wish you success and progress.🎄🇹🇭🎄

The interesting part of the construction is actually where you stop. If you kept going and followed the line right along to where it meets the original BTS it would be interesting viewing

I heard that tonight they will be lifting and installing a 60 meter, 130 ton of a Steel Guideway Beam over Srinakarin-Suvarnabhumi Tollway (I'm not sure about the location). It's very long and difficult to install. Hope it goes smoothly.

@@globaltravelmate Yes!! I think it should be right there. They usually use the Concrete Guideway Beam, but if the distance between the pillar is more than 30 meters then Steel Guideway Beam will be used.

This area is one of the heaviest traffic in BKK. But on Sunday, cars usually use higher speed than the speed limit.

the monorail is coming, the monorail is coming - i am sure that we have all heard that before - lets hope the yellow line gets completed and doesnt have the same fate as the one in Springfield Another great update and chance for us to see you dicing with the bonkers Bangkok traffic and those very special left turns that drivers do. is the monorail going to work off of a 3rd card type or are they going to integrate the ticketing options this time?
@aburn9891

No one knows, but since its being constructed by the mrta, it will at the very least use the same cards as the blue, purple and future pink lines

I notice that the stations, which are massive structures and obviously very very heavy are supported only on central supports with no side pillars so I hope the structual engineers got their load bearing calculations correct. But even so, if an earthquake was to hit ?

BTS, MRT are designed to handle earthquakes up to 7 Richter. I think monorail Still use the same standard

You are very adventurous to ride a bicycle on Srinakarin Road, especially fro Onnut Road to Season Square. I live in the area and drive the route almost daily and it is very congested and dangerous even for a car. It will be nice when the Monorail is finished so the construction equipment can be removed allowing complete lanes on Srinakarin.
I can't believe that BKK only has 129km length of metro system (with BTS and MRT combined), even smaller than the metro system (133km) of Kunming (the capital city of 46m population province of Yunnan). A city as big as BKK has such a small metro system is simply a pubilic transportation disaster. Chengdu, Chongqing and Wuhan are as big as BKK in terms of metropolitan population, and yet they have a metro system longer than 300km and are still expanding at a crazy pace.

@@H2554 True. But BKK really needs to make bigger efforts on public transportation because it's already such a huge metropolis.

Bangkok population is only 10 millions people cannot compare with big city in China but compare to the same size city. Bangkok is doing good in term of developing the infastructure.

@@longtaoyou2931 I think 129km length is probably old information, Bangkok has a lot more routes this year and there will be more every year. Over the next 4-5 years, Bangkok will have the third longest rail line in the world with 464 km of electric trains. Hope this is helpful. シ
