The difference between a 10 year old and a 20 year old is drastic. The difference between a 20 year old and a 45 year old is not drastic. Many 40 year olds can look like they are in their 20’s, if they stay slim, dress youthful, and take care of their skin, hair and teeth. The major change comes for women at menopause. That is when diet, exercise no longer can make her look youthful. The loss of estrogen is what causes the major skin changes. The changes are drastic as the when teenagers go through puberty, but around 52, it’s puberty in reverse, and everything deflates, bone looses density, tissues deflate and shrivel, muscle mass does too. Diet and exercise become even more critical because the 50’s is when people start falling off a cliff, heath-wise. When you start loosing estrogen, you realize it is #1.

But definitely you need to work out harder and harder as you get bigger/stronger. That's why bodybuilders and powerlifters workout far more than beginners (multiple times per week even) with much less results compared to beginners that make big gains in size and strength relatively speaking. Happy Sunday, Dr Stefani! I have a question about last week video, if you dont mind.. Do you think using temporary plumping products will damage the tissue of the lips in the long run? Don't those plumping products work by way of inflammation? Isn't inflammation the enemy of our skin? Will it ultimately leave the lips deflated from using plumping products that contain pepper, cinnamon, or other irritants such as that to increase blood flow? Or is inflammation only bad for everything else? Just trying to preserve what I have and if temporarily plumping them is going to fatigue and/or negatively impact my lips in the long run, I will avoid those products. Thank you. I love your channel!!🖤🖤🖤

I have a similar question in that I'm wondering if inflammation from at home radio frequency devices are creating a temporary inflammation which has a lifting and plumping effect at expense of the overall health of our skin. Because if you stop using the device the skin goes back to sagging which shows it wasn't plumped and lifted due to collagen, which lasts alot longer.

day 3 asking this! can u PLZ make a video on getting rid of stretch marks with lasers/chem peels/microneedling/ect?! i heard they have 3D laser options (3 diff lasers going at once) to make results faster. they also have $10k packages- as in- u pay that in full & they dont stop until the SM's are gone. ---but this is all supposed Docs on reddit info. There's VERY lil info out there about this stuff. but ik its possible to nearly erase 70-80% of old SM, if u give it 1-3 yrs of the correct treatments. PLZ HELP. -do u have experience removing old SM's..? -what do u recommend..? -which doctors to go to/look for..? -best course of treatments..?
