Bardstown Road is a totally diverse stretch that goes from downtown Louisville all the way to Bardstown Ky. if you follow it all the way out. Full of all types especially at the beginning to nothing but country further out.

Not to be pedantic (but as someone who grew up very near The Highlands and knows this area well, I can't help it) the camera does not actually enter Bardstown Road until it bends slightly left at the intersection with Highland Avenue (2:35). Prior to that, the road being traveled is Baxter Avenue.

Wow, a side of Bardstown Rd I rarely ever get to see. I usually go as far north as the Watterson and even that is only once in a blue moon.

I could never figure out the red X and green arrows over the lanes. Is it two lanes during rush hours or?

What’s there really to see? It’s a typical US city. No real nationally known monuments besides maybe the BAT at the Louisville slugger museum, gold statue of David and that’s about it

It’s amazing how little history she has right about our neighborhood … anytime you want to inquire, no one knows Highlands more than me and Katie can talk to me any time .. this is what is killing our neighborhood

Who the hell is this guy? I’ve lived in the Highlands my entire life and I have NEVER regarded us as trendy or, even worse, hipster. For the most part, this is a laid back, friendly Bohemian neighborhood. At least, that is what attracted people to our culture. I would love to have a VERY long conversation with the guy that produced this and how he represents “ Ys” Lemme be real freakin clear, for some if you, this is a cool hood, but for many of us, it’s ‘ home’ How would you like it if thousands of hHifhlanders just invaded your hometown? Two sides to every storyPlease get the tourists out of the Highlands so we can have our home back

I have lived in the highlands since I was 14 and growing up that’s what the general consensus was among us. From an outside perspective the highlands is for sure hipster and it’s not even just tourists it’s just the vibe the area gives off.
