His brother is a doctor...Gee if you were so broke how did he afford University and books, etc... Victimhood is rampant in all of these stories

University was a lot more affordable back then. No doubt, he had a good upbringing if his father was an engineer and his mother a teacher. But, perhaps, his parents made him earn things independent of their financial support. Regardless, he's a very sharp individual. If you watch the entire interview it's very apparent that he understands the ebb and flow of the market on a very sophisticated level.

And broke ppl in the US have everything compared to broke people in India. Reverse of your comment is every broke person says they can’t do anything to change their life cuz they are broke.

0:38 - He doesn’t say, but if he worked for Cutco, he got phenomenal training. The HBS of door-to-door selling. I say that as a customer.

Every apartment in NYC has cockroaches, even if you live in an exclusive prewar coop steps from Central Park. They live in the walls and come in through cracks or sometimes through the bathtub drain, it’s no big deal and just part of living here. They don’t hurt anything, were here long before us and will be here long after we’re gone 😆 I don’t see how having had cockroaches is some hard luck story at all. It’s like saying “I lived in NYC, steps away from homeless people.” They are everywhere too (these days especially).

@@estebanperez4171 you see how hard he had to work to amass his wealth? Anyone can do it, even someone starting at the very bottom of society like poor old Barry.

Bro bro, stop please. He is not a victim, just a spoilt & ungrateful person. His father was a plant manager & his mom a biology teacher. They would have taught him well & provided more than most kids

He had a terrific upbringing, with well off, educated, financially stable, loving parents who provided for him very well. Most people would have loved to have had his upbringing.
