In this vid I start at the back of everyone and do some passing. The riders I pass are slower in the corners and brake earlier, but I'm not confident enough to pass there due to inexperience and my speed difference is not enough to do it safely. ATM it is much safer to pass on the straights or under brakes. It will be interesting to see if this changes as my corner speed increases.
I'm still not accelerating 100% due to lack of confidence with my corner speed. However, I have learnt the hard way that it is better to improve within my limits rather that to push the limits. Falling off hurts at 62yo. :-)
My muscle memory is improving with trail braking, focusing on the apex then down the track at least 150m once I'm on the apex. Hope this helps someone.
Next track day is April 7 at Baskerville
