4 days. That’s how long it took me to put a new sewer line in for the bathroom I’m rebuilding. I think it was time well spent, but it took a while!
I spent a bunch of time just trying to figure out how to level things out…I think that was the hardest, because it’s an old house and nothing’s straight. From there, I worked through how to get everything to line up right, completed the dry fit…and then the most stressful time, the glue up.
I’ve never attempted anything like this before…overall it wasn’t too bad, but I spent a couple hours reviewing the IPC to make sure I was doing things correctly…even then though, I’m not so sure.
Plumbing is one of those things where experience goes a long way…good news is that I’ve got a little more of that than I did before!
Just a reminder…this is not a how-to video.
