I was never really a Beach Boys fan, but I learned to appreciate the genius of Brian Wilson. This album is the one that sold me. Absolutely, (in my opinion), the crown jewel for the Beach Boys. Love it. Have a good one.

Fantastic expression "Rolex song" which pretty accurately describes this masterpiece of a song with music and ha in harmonies of great depth and clarity! I believe that the American top recording studios were more advanced and stereophonic with a more recording tracks while Britain's studios were 4 track and Stereo just started to come in during early 1960s, like "Sargent Pepper" Album by Beatles. It is said that Beatles 1966 "Revolver" album inspired Beach Boys "Pet Sounds!" Which in turn inspired The Beatles Sargent Pepper!" Brian Wilson was so astonished that he attempt the "Smile" album but due to his failing mental health didn't succeed! It was released and put together I think in the Naughties. By the 1990's previously Brian's health had much improved!
