When Dr Laura Fennelly went to Perth in Australia after completing her Medical degree in Ireland, she worked in emergency medicine. But she decided to return to become a General Practitioner in Dublin, where she trained in major tertiary hospitals and small urban practices during her 4-year training programme run by the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP).
Now she works in a family-centred practice run by a husband and wife GP team in a northside Dublin suburb, enjoying a high quality work-life balance, living in the community amongst her patients, and making a difference in people's lives.

Applications for the 2024 programme open on 2nd October 2023.
