Yeah I use to think the same thing I'm getting my first one next week. Decided I'm tired of paying $1000 a month just to rent when I can actually purchase a camper and hit the road. Sure I'll still have to pay for things but paying to own verse just to rent is a big difference to me.

We have a different kind of relationship, where Crohn's Disease invades pretty much every part of your "personal space" and as a married couple we are totally comfortable with whatever life brings. We certainly don't stand over each other and stare while the other does their business! But in any RV there's no escaping the bad side of a shared toilet, regardless of how private it may be or not be.

I love your Moho! I have been struggling to decide what to buy… 36 ft for full time living, smaller for travelling.. 30ft can I get into those great “offroad “ places… decision has been killing me, and recently I have see this exact motorhome for sale for $4000…. But then fear the condition, the mechanics… OMG! Fear is killing my soul… I woke up this morning and saw this video… and now I KNOW I can make this work.

I understand your hesitancy because I went through the same thing not too long ago. I had never even spent the night in an RV and I bought one…out of state! Needless to say I need to change my life! 😂 So I bought it and moved and have loved every moment of it! Life is a fun adventure!! I am never bored! Don’t let fear keep you stuck. If you don’t wake up every morning excited about what the day holds for you then what have you got to lose? You only live once, right? 😊

I feel your pain. Such a hard decision. I thought I was done when I bought my 24ft Minnie. I'm not full time but I still struggle with the dilemma of should I go smaller to go on those off roads etc. Even at 24 ft. I'm limited on those backroads. Thinking about towing a car or just getting a Van or Class B RV. But everything is so expensive now and I hate the thought of spending more for less than what I have now. If you're full timing you may want to stick to something bigger then tow for off roading.
@CalledToWander

4K for this motorhome means some kind of major work. We got a steal of a deal for 12K with no water damage or engine issues. As for the road, every RV has it's advantages and disadvantages. We put the biggest All Terrain tires we could on this to give us the ability to get 5-10 miles down relatively well-maintained dirt roads to the places we love to camp the most (BLM land out west, Baja and Alaska). Pick what is most important to you and base the other decisions off that. For us, giving up our Pan-Am dream meant 2-3 years of living in the US and Mexico, where more room is a much nicer tradeoff.

True in some cases but this would depend on the past history of the rig itself and how previous owners cared for it. I know of at least two couples with RV's that are 15+ years old and are in top shape. There are way too many variable to consider when purchasing an RV but I would say that affordability is number one. People buy what they can afford.

The only thing stopping me is doing it alone, I'm independant in my life but I'm a people person and want to travel with someone who loves nature, travelling, stopping in a beautiful spot for a few weeks. I've prayed and prayed to the Lord to take away my fear of travelling alone but I really don't want to be alone. Too much beauty in Canada to not share while driving and chatting with a friend. This is one of the nicer remodels. Really looks homie... Your bedroom doors are beautiful. You could move the handles over to the other side of the doors to give you the room you need to move around your bed and still have them on the bedroom side of your room.

Wow, your home looks great! For the handles in de bedroom, on the sliding doors you might want to consider leather grips. They do not hurt when you bump in to them and you will not tare a shirt or pocket.

Looks really nice, my Husband & I recently purchased a 26ft Class C Mini Winnebago it was funny how much our remodel looks similar to yours. I made curtains white with Navy Blue stripes but they are vertical stripes. Our backsplash is identical. We also used the backsplash on 1 Wall in our bathroom. I wanted to take out the recliner and make a shelving unit like you have done. It’s still up in the air. “I think he’s changing his mind” 🤞. We are currently working on the Solar. But we should be ready to go by mid May 2022. 🌺 I’m a new Subscriber!! Thank You for the video.

Great job on the renos and love the colour of the cabinets. Hope your crohns is manageable. My son was dx at 17 and he will be 44 tomorrow. We had planned to ft rv then I got cancer and we had to stay in our home province for 5 yrs and now pandemic… all the best!!

@@CalledToWander sorry I wrote that weirdly. My husband and I were planning.. we have since sold our truck and rv because living on a disability pension isn’t conducive to much, we are debating a bigger suv and see but time will tell although at 65 we better decide but we know won’t be ft.
