I can't wrap my head around Seth Macfarlane creating a show with character development and well thought out characterization and an intelligent script.

Seth MacFarlane is an incredible creator and actor if youve never seen him in other things besides family guy I feel bad for you, even IN family guy (back when he was still heavily writing for the show) he made some really we'll written episodes like the one where brian dies, and yes fanily guy is just stupid humor but it always has been, just becuase someone makes something thats easy doesnt mean they arent capable of more

that's part of the point. remember..it's REALLY hard for her species to physically connect with low-grav people inimately. but the dude was a Moclan. he probably could have taken it. and he risked everything to declare his attraction to HER. and now he will pay the rest of his life for it. regardless of what her feelings for Locar actually were..that would HURT. He's lucky she didn't say "go see the doctor as soon as possible" and then broke his freaking arm. Ed would have probably looked the other way. Klyden is...an interesting character. he's built some redemption during the whole topa arc, but i wonder if/when seaosn 4 occurs..if there won't be a Final Straw for Bortus.

Watching Klyden get dunked on never gets old. End of season 3 still hasn't redeemed him in my eyes.

I hate the klyden story line it’s so dumb It would make sense if they were like bug peoples and women being there queens kind of messed up with their free will or enslaved the men’s or something. Exemple what if women are like the blue alien that ruffled them Maybe not even all but out of 10000 women Now it just doesn’t make sense If you want to go alien go full alien with social and philosophical issue that can’t be answered by saying prejudice bad.

I pity his species' indoctrination in anything different is wrong and self-hatred over that as well. But yeah, if the show continues, it would be interesting to see him learn from his eyes being opened. He has a way to go. This is similar to the pre-peace treaty Kaylon on a minor scale

he has come a long way. i hated him so much until he broke down to topa. he is, in fact, another victim of moclan society.

People are so judgemental If Klyden continued to believe in his value, that would not make him wrong, especially if justified and the belief is accepted as normal by nearly everyone on their society The argument of slavery can not be used, as slavery as practiced in US was not accepted or considered normal by many societies Being gay, is the most equivalent and again does not help, as being gay is not considered normal by many countries

It would’ve broken me to make the choice she had to. Either let a man be imprisoned for a crime he did not commit or spare him by imprisoning someone whose only crime was trying to protect himself from being imprisoned because he was only being himself and causesing no issues

@@DraycoVideook so spoilers and it’s been a bit, Klyden (then man in this scene) comes from a warlike male exclusive species, so exclusive that they force female children on their planet to change themselves to male, and have little to no respect for females of other species. They are called Moclans. The Orville ends up with another Moclan on board that developed a relationship with the security captain Keyali, Klyden finds out and threatens to report him as heterosexual relationships are considered taboo or illegal. The other Moclan fabricates a video essentially to try to get Klyden arrested for murdering him, Keyali has to either choose between the Moclan she has feelings for, or prove Klydens innocence and doom the other Moclan to death I think.

If that person feels like a different gender then it was born with then they have all rights to be who they want to be. This isn't a woke culture, it's about accepting others people who are different from each other

@@chicachuqueen Yes I agree with you, but when they are preaching the dogma that you are something else and want more people to change that is a social problem and that is woke culture. This isnt a liberty thing any more its a dogma being imposed to others and that is affecting the liberty of others. I mean why would I like to turn on the TV to be bombardeted by this dogma in eveyr channel I select or if I go to watch Disney movie why do I have to tolerate getting imposed this dogma. That is affecting our liberty. ITS nothing other than a dogma.

Define "correct decision", do mean 'make the decision that you want'?
@dorianlopez-garza5000
Ай бұрын
@@beckyhartley9502 Well, it all depends on how much you love your kids of course. If your kid says OMG! I was born as a person with no arms trapped in a body that has arms!!! Mom Dad! I need to remove my arms to be happy in life and don't get discriminated against by others because that is my real identity. Will you be the type of parent that would say? Yes, my dear don't worry the doctor will fix this for you he will amputate your arms so the real you will come out and you can feel happy in life. Or would you explain to your son that arms are something natural to every human and that beautiful things can be done with them? And that removing the arms because of the incorrect way of looking at things will affect him/her for the rest of his/her life. So not to make this too long, only a cynical person would say that amputating a genital is different than amputating an arm and that by this amputation they will become different and perfect in life. So yes of course my correct decision is to explain to my kid that an amputation is a harm to his life even if he doesn't understand that. And I will always try to protect my kid against his/her incorrect view of life. And well come on harming people that way by suggesting that amputations are good is a just minority dogma to the detriment of normal people's lives.
