Their songs were known for pulling you in on the first couple of notes. None of them could read music. They went by what they like to hear, and that is how they wrote all of their songs. Yet they all can play multiple instruments.

Thank you for the reaction! That is a "landmark" song because at the request of the producer, Barry uses for the first time his falsetto voice near the end (the "blaming it all" "nights on Broadway." Barry (the brother on the viewer's right) is using his tenor throughout until the ending. BTW, all three have and use their falsettos, but Barry's is oustanding.

Yep. Some people falsely attribute the falsetto in this song to Maurice cos he sings it live in place of Barry (who can't sing both lines at once), when the falsetto in the recorded version is Barry.

For people who are mainly familiar with their disco era, this is quite a departure, with Barry singing the baritone, Robin singing the chorus alone, and Maurice singing the falsetto's, they were all so multitalented, there will never be another like the Bee Gee's.....RIP Andy💟, Maurice 💟 & Robin 💟 ****LOVED YOUR REACTION****

This was the song that Arif Mardin asked Barry to try the falsetto for an ad lib. Wow, Natalie Cole, she had one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. So much R&B in the early Bee Gee songs. R&B was one of their main influences along with the Beatles.

Please check out Bee Gees 'Fanny Be Tender With My Love' official clip next! It's amazing and I'm sure you'll love it! :) Another absolute fire song of theirs is 'Tragedy' (though I usually love lives, the actual studio/album recording is the best to listen/react to for that song). Loving your Bee Gees reactions so far, and I totally agree - I would find it near impossible not to move to this song if I was in the audience - especially cos I'd probably be fangirling like crazy over them! By the way, you should check out the actual studio recording of Nights On Broadway sometime (no need to react, just to check out) as it had Barry singing falsetto. You see Maurice singing it here because it wasn't possible for Barry to sing both parts live, but Nights On Broadway was the first time Barry ever used his falsetto in a song (having only just discovered it at the time). Keep up the nice vids! :)

You're probably gonna get some hate if Robin fans ever read your comment. lol. Robin's voice was fantastic though - unique and gorgeous. The Bee Gees were fantastic with everything they did, but sometimes I wish they had more time for more songs where Robin and Maurice had more significant roles. Or maybe that's just cos I can never get enough of these amazing brothers.
