I was doing some binge watching today-your channel and Flosstube (geared toward cross stitchers) and one lady I follow showed her gorgeous mug from Sisters, Oregon. I would love to live there-it looks so clean and beautiful. I would like to get away from the heavy snow though, we just had 15 inches followed by heavy rains when it warmed up a bit. I know you mentioned cross stitch in one video so if you would like to check that episode out (and she shows one of her Featherweights) it'skzitem.info/news/bejne/2ot8nqZ9nWWea44

I’m so glad I found you. I’m branching out to the wool appliqués in a more serious way as I have done Dimension kits before but I have purchase some kits from Buttermilk Basin. I wanted to make sure I was starting out the best way I can. Your videos on some of the basic steps are wonderful and easy to follow and gives me enough confidence to start cutting my wools. I did purchase wonder under but I appreciate the tip on the additional stabilizer for the base wool. Thank you so much!!!!

Be sure that what ever fusible you use that it is a light product or you needle tends to gum up...as for the stabilizer for the back you can't go wrong with Pellon SF101 as it is a light weight cotton type fabric and you don't feel the drag.

Your quilt is SO lovely. I wanted to mention something about half-square triangles made easily and accurately. Several years ago, I discovered a small CD package called Triangulations and I bought it. It's a goldmine. Simple to install on your computer. Using triangulations, you can pick the size of HST you want and print it out on a page from your computer. (look it up on YT for a demo) and then follow along, as you did with Edytar's papers. The paper from my computer just falls off because of the small stitches...take a look. I think you'll be pleased. It's economical and you'll never have to buy papers again. Oh, and thank you for the 15 min hint from Sandy...I took it to heart!

What are the dimensions of your design wall panels? I love watching your videos and plan to learn to do hand embroidery.

What the design wall is...is 2 standard sheets of insulation from Home Depot, covered with flannel from Walmart...the flannel is duct taped on the backside. Then 2 slats are duct taped to the back and nailed to the wall at the top😜😀

I use a Olfa rotatry cutter. The key to all cutters is to change the blade regularly

I really love your design board. Can you tell me how it was made. I think my husband (being very handy) could make it for me if I have the directions. Love your videos.
