To me it seems that you're basically misinterpreting this. This analogy is unfitting, it's way deeper. Eywa is not a godess, not kind of a deity flowing around there like some magical heaven's dude. The very energy from every living thing in the network connecting all Pandora, that is Eywa. She grows with every cell and loses a little part whenever a cell dies. Grace's line is so touching because she feels that in her last moments. As the movie shows before, she has always been a scientist. She realizes und values the biological energy network with her interest being that of a scientist. When Jake carried her to the tree, she still feels the urge to take samples. While "dying", Grace becomes part of this network and just feels it, but not as a scientist anymore. This energy and communication really exists to an extent in the nature of our world. I'm quite unsure about the existence of any other deities.

Now that we know that this ritual is what conceived Kiri, and that we know Neteyam is the oldest of the siblings in Avatar 2, it can be inferred that he was conceived when Jake and Netiri first mated at the tree of voices. Because its the only other instance that we are made aware of that would have allowed for a conception that would make Neteyam older than Kiri. The order in which the songcord song is sung supports this, starting with neteyam and ending with kiri.

If you want to know what Mo'at is saying, I'll tell you, since I saw it in the movie, which has the language subtitled, what Mo'at says is the following Mo'at: Listen to us, Great Mother Navi´s: Eywa help her Mo'at: accept this spirit Mo'at: and bring it back to life with us Mo'at: she lets him walk among us Mo'at: as one of our people That's what she says Mo'at in the ceremony

I just realized at around 0:16 she mentions Gia, possibly? It might mean something else in Na'vi but Gia is our Earth or Mother Nature, the planet where Grace was born. I'm like 90% sure she's asking for Eywa to accept Graces soul from Gia, or something similar. Idk, just a little thing i thought about.

Lush empress omg I pray to god not. They've already whitewashed their culture to integrate a man who essentially uprooted their way of life. To have a human woman be their god would honestly just be a slap in the face for Pandora and it's integrity. This movie is very sneakily appropriating white domination if you ask me

tumelo mamabolo u realize people change right? Ignorance wouldn’t be apart of the people in avatar and how is it whitewashing if they are showing a white man changing his earlier views? Tf

People are saying Eywa is God or representative of God. But if you were to destroy Pandora, the vast neural network, then Eywa would be destroyed. So Eywa isn’t exactly a diety, but she is referenced and revered as one. The difference between Eywa and God is that God exists outside of the universe and energetic neural networks. Also, Is Eywa sentient? Yes the network is alive but does Eywa have her own feelings, thoughts, words, and opinions outside of the network?
