Ugh, Lombardi is the best. In New England, all the BS radio shows would have him on and he would talk real football and tell it like it was, and you could tell they just wanted him to talk about whatever narrative they were trying to push. He'd always talk real facts and football and stood out to me as someone (like Bill) that doesn't get caught up in the noise.

@@Sequoia4132 that’s just the language coming out of the Raiders camp, I imagine a low ball would be a 4th round pick. Or a 3rd and the raiders pick up the money this year

A 4th rd pick & negotiate contractual splits for a likely 3-month rental who is no where near his prime, is NOT a 'low-ball' offer... it'll be the best market rate available. Take it or leave it.
@pigspigs76
2 күн бұрын
@@Isaac-qe2in Adams has a bunch highlight catches this season and has been open more often than not .. the QB is the bottle neck, sure he has dropped a few passes but he has also not been mentally in these games given the rampant organizational issues .. he would thrive with a top qb and winning culture no doubt. As I said, the best offer would likely come from KC (2nd) and I would do that along with a conditional if I am eating salary. I have no idea why it has become taboo to take the best deal on the table lol if the rest of the NFL is butt hurt Pat gets a top tier wideout than to bad, should have made better offers

I enjoy watching these roundtable talks from both coaches and former GM Mike Lombardi. But, these videos feel less insightful especially after watching Grudens videos. I wish they would use a grease board, or at the very least, a digital screen and light pen to breakdown the X's and O's of plays, formations, coverages etc ... Heck, even doing what we see from former players and coaches turned broadcasters/analysts. It's so much more interesting and definitely helps the viewer to understand when it's presented that way. I can't be the only one that thinks that.

It's maddening to listen to Belichick weasel his way out of giving Caleb credit for playing better over the last few games by minimizing the progress because of inferior competition. Yet, no mention of the fact Daniels has beaten nobody of consequence through 5 weeks and has faced 0 top 10 defenses, while Caleb has played against 2. Clear double standard.
