The fifth tower of the day.
Shipley are a mediocre ring of six which ring well and go very nicely. It has a humongous belfry which has plenty of space for some more bells.
The bells are a mixed bag and are also chip tuned. They sound nice and meaty for an 9cwt six. Paul unfortunately got to enthusiastic and played the organ. He then got asked to leave the church. He took a video of the bells outside.
Another fun thing about this tower is that there is a dumbbell which you can play around with without disturbing the ringing. Still, can be a little distracting at times. Ringing here features a touch of Grandsire Doubles and call changes in the belfry.
