Hey guys, check out my favorite 4k monitor. I am sorry for the lesser quality sound, but this is my first video from this new location and I’m still working on figuring things out. So what’s your priority when it comes to displays?

Loving the new studio E 🙂 Being able to rotate the monitor totally vertical is excellent. Actually seems like a great monitor. I've just switched to an ultrawide and I'm loving it...but there are still many occasions where I feel a monitor like this LG one would work better. Also...that is a hard question! I'd go for pixel density. Refresh rates I can live with that being lower. Colour accuracy is very important of course but there is nothing worse in life than being able to see gigantic pixels!! Hahaha Great video again E 👍🏻

Hi, I am hoping you can help with a bit of insight; I have the new 2019 MacBook Pro 16'' running two 4k 60hz external monitors. When I set both external monitors to the 4k resolution, the text and UI layout of my applications and safari becomes extremely small and hard to read. I have to choose the scaled option at 1920x1080 to increase text size and overall UI layout for the display to be visually acceptable. Is there anything I can do to use my 4k monitors for their intended use @ 4k without having the text and app appear super small? Any insight is extremely appreciated! *Awesome video by the way.
@rzfoxify

unfortunately no. for a 4K display to look reasonable on Mac you need to either have it at 34+ inch size or 21-24 inch with HiDPI scaling (where 4 pixels used to draw a very sharp one, hence you would have 4k clarity at 1080p-like space).

I originally just wanted to get a decent 27inch monitor to have a larger screen experience - the LG UK850 seemed to fit the bill nicely.... but then I started researching and reading online and now am quite torn. I use lightroom for work, so then I started thinking...well if I get a monitor I want to make sure it will work for my work as well... and then I start reading about all this Adobe RGB and P3 etc etc....and also about 32inch vs 27inch and 4k etc here's the reality... I have been working on the Macbook 12inch 2017 and the screen on that is great - I believe it is 91% Adobe RGB and has P3 as well. I am very satisfied with it for my work. But getting a monitor now... i want to make sure it's "good enough" for my lightroom work as well and has some "future proofing" built in as all smart phones and computers move towards p3 etc... my budget was hopefully
