Mimo!! Love your channel and been watching for a long time. My mom and aunt used to make this all the time for us when we were kids! Instead of the cookies, try plain honey graham crackers (not even crushed, just lay them down in the pan). Would need to refrigerate overnight to fully soften the crackers. It’s SO GOOD!! I still make it for my child now! And sometimes to jazz it up I would thrown in a layer of canned pie filling (apple or strawberry were my favorite flavors). And on the top I would let my little one sprinkle rainbow sprinkles (the stick sprinkles, not the nonpareils balls) the color would bleed a tiny bit and remind me of childhood

We make our banana pudding very similarly but instead of mixing the pudding and cool whip we just layer each thing. My mom especially loves extra Nilla Wafers on top and large pieces of banana.

replacements for non Americans: cool whip -- whipped cream/reddi whip or cream cheese (for lactose intolerant look for oat or almond whipped cream) instant pudding -- use the pudding snack packs instead, they're the exact same results and you don't have to make it nilla wafers -- vanilla biscuits/cookies

Nilla wafers can be substituted for a dry vanilla cookie, graham crackers (sometimes called digestives outside the us).

@@MissRyukkie Digestives and graham crackers are different but apparently similar things (depending on who you ask). It's not an alternate name and you can't buy graham crackers in Australia. Plain digestives are also fairly rare Afaik the most common biscuit for a no-bake crust like this in Australia would be milk arrowroot biscuits
