My thought exactly. Warm summer afternoon, you get home, plug a few batteries, close the drawer and start a fire... LiPoly batteries start burning above 60°C. It's quite easy to reach while charging fast.

True, to counter that we use the cuff most of the time with the capture clip to store the camera away for a short time. Which does not have this problem. I bought the leash 2 months ago because we wanted another easy to bring strap when we carry a 100-400 (also 2 months old) Just saying that the normal 16mm towards 200mm does not work for us, using a traditional camera strap, beyond that we use the leash, still in combination with the capture clip, and with such a lens of 400mm, well it’s less of a problem if you wanne go low, you probably going low with it because of the weight.

I'm with you, Nick, and I like that the PD release button twists to lock. I'd be nervous about accidentally pressing the button and releasing my camera at an inopportune time. A PD product will suit me better, I think.

A random thought: Could one not use the capture clip to facilitate this? Loop around the bolts that you’d use for installation, then connect the strap to the hookups on each side so instead of the capture being connected to your bag strap, its connected to the neck strap.

on the power station, I'm a videographer who travels a bit. I have one of those charging banks in a small clear plastic bin (made to store shoes) with a hole cut for the cable. In the evening I just bring out the plastic bin, plug it in, and all of the chargers are in one place. If I have to leave, or change sockets, because someone else needs the socket all I have to do is unplug it, pull all of my charged batteries out, and put on a lid, and throw it in my bag, ready for the next location. Keep up the great work James.

Speaking about non-original chargers. Those are typically non-balancing chargers, that means they don't ensure that two banks of the battery are not balanced (their final voltage is equal). That is OK for non-regular use, otherwise they might decrease battery life sometimes. Balancing chargers have three contacts for the battery, non-balancing ones - just two.

I’m a vine reviewer for Amazon and reviewed one of those multi type plug sockets a few years back. Does work well but all the USB sockets are not the same power so some things trickle charge and some of my devices needed to have he power turned on and off to get them to charge. Agree with others though dislike leaving batteries on charge in attended, same with the dishwasher and washing machine, like to use them when in the house having had a few floods. Any way looked for the Falcon in the UK couldn’t find many purchasing sources Amazon stock a lot of their products but not these. Some companies would not ship to UK, and another well deliver by summer.... So I ended up going to peak design and purchasing some of their kit. I got kit for my husband to use too so hopefully no complaints, but I will blame you (hope that’s ok) but to put in perspective cheap cf a new Sony A1. 🙂🥰
