I do. You can do this same recipe with sweet potatoes, and it is very good with broccoli. But carrots, corn, I even do a cabbage stir fry that is very good.

Avacado oil takes higher temperature than olive. Grape seed oil takes even more heat before it smokes. I season my cast iron skillets in Avacado oil in the oven at 375, and no smoke. Hope this helps you and others.

I use olive oil in my videos because it's what most people have around the house, and it does do a good job. I agree that both those other oils handle high heat well, but I have to think about the average user and what they will have around the house. Thanks for stopping by, and I do appreciate the comments.

I made some of these for dinner tonight. I mix up my own seasoning. Garlic powder Onion powder Black pepper Kosher salt. Then I have my other seasoning, just a light amount. Paprika Chili powder Cayenne pepper (just a little) Cumin Oregano and some fresh rosemary.

I gave this a try last night! Amazing! I had a multi-spice blend (Garlic, Herb, Sea Salt, Pepper), plus additional ground salt & pepper. I microwaved the taters for 3 minutes and placed them onto a cooling rack and then quartered them. Medium-High heat for about 20 minutes. Once they were nice and toasty with good color, I amped it up a bit and grated fresh Parmesan cheese over the them and immediately scooped into the serving tray. Delicious! It was a huge hit at our weekly Manda Monday cooking event. Thanks so much for taking the stigma out of Blackstone taters for me.
