Hold.that hand and use the l Other for the balls or eyes or throat. Also train your grip to be strongman level or beyond strong. Cant choke if your hands grab that lead in arm. @SL yes really... you do what you must in a street fight. The art of Kina mutai (biting and eye gouging) teaches how to bite uninterrupted on the human body...there are five main ways to bite. A nibble, chomp, tear, shred and chew. The key word is uninterrupted. There are no rules on the street. You wanna "play nice" , go ahead but when your life could be on the line, one does what one must do to win. Could be the difference betwen being raped and killed or surviving to see another day for a 115lb female vs a bigger, stronger male assailant as one example. Biting isn't the goto option. It's just one more tool in the toolbox when/if needed to survive.

Is Kino Mutai effective? Kina Mutai is a close quarter art used especially in the range of grappling as a counter-grappling art! Many people consider it extreme, brutal and unethical, but no one can disagree for its effectiveness... Learning Kina Mutai is definitely making a fighter's arsenal more complete!

as a bouncer my advice is don't do this, when its real, you won't remember this, instead grab a finger (their finger😉) and wrench it back, pull like a your ass depends on it. if it breaks keep pulling. works every time. if you can do this that's great, but the size of some of the guys I've had to deal with, could lift the average guy off their feet with one arm around the neck like that. you want something that makes them let go as soon as possible, because they may not be the only one you have to deal with. "bee stings" grabbing/breaking fingers, firing stiff finger hands at their face, crotch slaps etc. to make them forget about the hold for a second. no quarter, no hesitation, be mean and nasty.

A lot of comments from people who seem to have watched a different video than what is here. He doesn't say if you're in a rear naked choke just bite down (which many are saying if the guy flexes his arm you'll bust your teeth out or break your jaw) he said stop the rear naked choke first. He also didn't say once stopped just start biting, He said trap the arm in place so it can't move, then bite. And it's not a 'nibble' (which Vu did say, but the whole video explains) it's tear the flesh off their arm like a rottweiler. So to review, you don't do this if you're in a rnc, you prevent the choke, trap the arm in place, and rip down to the bone. Lastly, Vu has just shy of 30 years of jiu jitsu training under his belt, and a lot of the biting techniques he teaches were endorsed by Roy Harris (who was VP of Paul Vunak's company in the late 90's)

Sadly a lot of BJJ guys are the type of jock douchebags in high school that think in terms of the mat or the ring. They think because they can fight in a sport that that means they’re unstoppable and that if they can’t succeed at a street fight then clearly there is no winning. They can’t conceive of a scenario where they would have to face a blade in not end up carved up like a turkey on thanksgiving. They can’t even conceive of soft tissue destroyals or trapping working in a self defense situation because “duh that shit won’t work in the ring bro so it won’t work in the street”. You’re not gonna reach them. Not all of em are like this. But there’s enough of them with loud mouths and peabrains that it gives BJJ a bad name. Don’t waste your time on them. You’re further ahead trying to teach a dog English than a BJJ bro real world combatives.
@JonathanWesselActor
Жыл бұрын
@@rapidself-defense9384 That's not a good comparison, and here's why. Asking a BJJ instructor why not just stay on your feet is moot, because the majority of BJJ is ground fighting. There are standup techniques, but most people don't know how to fight on the ground, which gives the BJJ practitioner an advantage. I'd also add that defending against chokes is a huge priority of BJJ practitioners, especially if someone happens to take the back. You're constantly defending against chokes, and if the practitioner of the RNC knows what he's doing, he's not going to bring his arm all the way around like the guy in the video does. He's literally putting it out there for Paul to grab easily. Anyone who knows what they're doing with a RNC will snake it into position (keeping it close to the body) instead of bringing the arm way out like that in front of the opponent's face.

Regarding the biting part. Many people who haven't done jiujitsu don't know that you can be Rear naked choked not only from the neck grip but also from the chin grip. So if someone tries to tuck the chin in to bite, you squeeze your forearm so hard on the chin that it might break their jaw or choke them out immediately due to the vicious pressure. We aren't allowed to do that in training just not to be a douchebag to the partner but you can see many such subs in the competition. So guys, save your teeth and jaw, don't try to bite or get yourself in that position specially with a jiujitsu practitioner. Tap and ask for mercy.

To be fair no one was hiding the second hand back in the early 00's when this was made. Everyone was putting their second hand on top of the head so stripping the second hand "off the top" was a pretty common escape. Danaher was the first guy I remember publicly showing people to "hide" the second hand invalidating the old common escape he shows here before he starts chewing on the dudes arm.
@canderoussnurd4265

I agree to an extent. Once the choke is on you’re basically screwed and once the first arm is around the neck it’s just a split second before the other locks it up. Complex moves won’t work once that primal fear kicks in. That said, with training you can do these moves effectively. The problem is that people don’t want to hang in there long enough to get the move down. Just like BJJ, or Kali or any art that requires thinking several moves ahead, most people will give up on it. Doesn’t make the art bad. This was part of SF hand to hand training year back. It does work but it requires a lot more training to do it. I worked security myself. I’ve had guns shoved in my face. I had a guy try to ambush me with a broken mop handle. I even had a guy pull the “pocket sand” tactic and try a osoto otoshi (thank god I trained Taijitsu and was trained to watch out for that shit). So believe me I hear what your saying and agree with you for the most part. Keep it simple is the most reliable. But I’ve trained with one of this guys students. This will work for you if you train it diligently. But all the same I’d advise not putting yourself into that situation to begin with.

I am a jiujitsu practitioner and from my experience his ideas about focusing on controlling the second hand after the opponent gets the first hand grip around neck is good and we are taught the same in jiujitsu but the essential fact that he ignores is that a good rear naked choke position requires the leg hooks too. A jiujitsu practitioner will get the leg hooks and then use their legs to trap one or both hands of the opponent using the legs. At that point of time you have your hands free to choke the opponent easily and if they bite it may cause me pain or tear my muscles but i would make sure to choke them to sleep and then fuck them in the ass for their stupidity.
